It's kind of a good thing. Well it was for while...
The match threads are generally entertaining lady fights between those who are happy Juve won and those who want the team to do better. The insults and girly-man behavior was fun for a while and now it's getting a bit repetitive. Things need a mix up. Maybe people could swap sides or use some new vocab, it's just not working anymore. Add to that the newboy toolboxes that just don't have the same pizzaz as the regulars and it makes for a sad, boring sight.

I'm quite partial to "toolbox" these days. Actually, I really enjoy it. It's insulting, but not too harsh and has a slight comedic value you just don't find in the stuff the kids are using these days. I used it in my prior post.
You can use it whenever someone disagrees with you to illustrate their lack of ability to think as an individual or just call them stupid. It should last for a couple of matches if you don't waste it during forum down time.

Shite match, made all the more frustrating by the antics of Doni and Floccari. We made the most of our chances though, which is always good to see.
Marchisio need's to get forward more often. He isn't pushing forward at all. Even Momo gets involved high up the pitch sometimes. I realize 1 player needs to cover for the other, but he doesn't make the most of the opportunties he is given to carry the ball forward. 1 of the main reasons his performance vs Milan was noteworthy was because he was making long passes, run's through the middle, shots at net, etc, all possible because he didn't park himself infront of the defence like he did today and in all the games prior to Milan.
Lastly, I also agree that Gio should be getting a run in Nedved's position. De Ceglie makes it work at lm, but it's not his strongest position imo. It takes more than a good cross to play there. Players like Seba can offer u more, and considering our formation and way we play (counter attack), it's paramount that our wingers can run at defenders.
I dont agree with the arguement were compromised defensively due to 1 player, because a) our fb's dont get forward enough for that to be a lineup deciding issue b) all u need to do is mark zonally and c) we have 2 tacklers in midfield to help cover in the event there is a gaping hole on the left. Was it not Ranieri who said Poulsen was bought to cover for our wingers?
We all saw what he did vs Catania on the left, and considering he will never play as long as Del Piero is available, we should start playing him in Nedved's spot.

Most of Atalanta attacks came from wing side, so even DC who defensively is better than Gio, cold not be more useful. That is why we saw Brazzo in 2nd half. Now imagine that we had Gio instead..

I think you're right. Maybe 7 would be more fair. But the work he did maybe not everyone noticed, but his work was really outstanding. Each time Atalanta were putting pressure on us attacking, Ale managed to slow down the game by pushing Atalanta players to make fouls on him.
