    My ratings:

Buffon - Didn't have much to do but that error was quite comical. 4.5

Zebina - Pretty good performance but won't be available for Wednesday's game because of a silly booking. 6

Thuram - Solid. Unfortunately Buffon's error resulted in an own goal to his name. 7

Cannavaro - Not his best outing... 6

Zambrotta - Good game. Made some bombing runs down the left flank and combined well with Olivera. 7

Camoranesi - He gave the ball away alot in the first half but still managed to be dangerous. Won the penalty which proved to be the match winning goal. 6

Emerson - Played well as usual. Disrupted Atalanta's attacks well and set up Olivera's goal with a nice through ball. 6

Tacchinardi - Good showing. Worked hard in midfield and distributed the ball reasonably well. 6.5

Olivera - Good movement, nice one touch passing, not afraid to run with the ball though he overdoes it sometimes. He's comfortable on the ball, has good technique and gives us some much needed creativity. Superb goal. 7

Ibrahimovic - Today wasn't his day. Never really got into the game. 5.5

Trezeguet - Struck a nice volley early on but was pretty invisible in the first half. He improved in the second period though and contributed to the winning of the penalty. 6

Del Piero - Didn't make much of an impact but he scored the winner and came close to netting a second. The goal should boost his confidence. 6

    Birindelli, Kapo - no rating.

For those who don't know, I call Cap "TRAP" for his defensive attitude, and losing leads late in games (except for today)

oh, hehe, i thought u messed Capello with Trappatoni... :D

    several questions

1)can somebody tell me more abt olivera's goal
    2) how we get the pk
    3) howz the og from thuram
    1) Oli's goal was an excellent chip with his left foot hit first time from an Emerson through ball.

    2) DP to Trez, Trez crossed for Camo, an Atalanta defender pulled him down.

    3) Buffon tried to trap the ball with his left foot but missed it.

I still don't like Capello's tactics. Atalanta are clearly inferior to us, so why not attack them and try to rack up some goals? We've already dropped points this season (Inter, Cagliari and Parma come to mind) because of being defensive when ahead, I would've thought that Cap would've learnt by now. Evidently not.

Del Piero Will Thank Me One Day-Capello
    1/30/2005 5:32:00 PM
Fabio Capello returned on his supposed row with Alessandro Del Piero ahead of the game won by the Bianconeri at Atalanta, on Sunday.
“One day Alex will thank me as with time things become clearer. It is not a question of roles, but of choices. A national debate was created last week when I kept him on the bench, and personally I think there was absolutely no ground for this to occur,” said the Juventus boss.

Against Atalanta, Del Piero came off the bench to score Juve’s second of the afternoon off the spot.

Did Del's PK go straight up the middle? From the pic above, thats what it looks like...

    And ya, forza juve!!!
Im so happy that del scored, even if it was only a PK< and that we now have an 8 pt lead, the highest thus far.

we still missed the thing that is supposed to give us the edge over less talented oponents. emerson, thuram and canna all had solid games. oliviera put some effort into it as well, both DP and Zlatan seemed useless and trezeguet missed a couple of easy headers.
zebina wasnt that bad but taking that stupid yellow card  i guess we have to play kapo against samp.
