After twisting his knee against Brescia last week, Pavel Nedved sits out this tie, but is hopeful to be back within a month. Gianluca Zambrotta also has a muscle problem that may keep him sidelined on Sunday. Emerson and Gianluca Pessotto are both suffering from knocks and are unlikely to play.
Meanwhile, Manuele Blasi’s suspension should almost certainly see Alessio Tacchinardi return to the midfield. Up front, Alessandro Del Piero looks destined for the bench again, as David Trezeguet and Zlatan Ibrahimovic continue in attack.

anyway we can plat Tacchi...
still a decent midfield but luckily we are playing the bottom club.
personaliy though i would like to see a trident attack to see how all three perform together as we might need a late goal to beat madrid.

although if you think back to the begining of the seasion cap rotated his strikers so i think del piero will start. yet a first choice partnership must be established for the return of the champions league. so hopefully capello will play the trident attack
