That's strange, my best friend is a big fan of Lima but I think she looks like a pig on most pictures. I'd better reconsider the way I think about her now.

But now, as for the big game, it will be a very hard decision voor CR. Iaquinta has already proven that he is a great joker, but the way he's playing recently, I consider him much more than that. On the other hand, if Del Piero has to start this game on the bench, it's possible that he'll loose motivation and play like sh*t when he comes in. Iaquinta is always motivated, as a sub or as a starting player and I'm afraid Del Piero isn't anymore. In MF, I'd go for Salihamidzic in stead of Marchionni. I like Marco much more, but I don't know if he's able to play 90 mins and I believe this game will be a battle 'till the end. I'd save Marco as a super-sub.
i'm guessing you're no older than 16 ?

Losing Camo is a huge blow. I don't see Salihamidzic or Marchionni being able to step up to the magnitude of this game so I'd go ahead and start both Vincenzo and Alex.

Buffon
Zebina - Legrottaglie - Chiellini - Molinaro
Nocerino - Zanetti - Nedved
Iaquinta - Trezeguet - Del Piero

The problem is that Sali hasn't been that convincing and you can't start Marco in such a game when he's been out for more than couple of months.

From the squad that Ranieri has chosen, I would pick this:

Buffon
Zebina - Legro - Chiellini - Molinaro
Tiago - Zanetti - Almiron - Nedved
Trezeguet - Iaquinta

Sali and Marco are big risks. Almiron and Tiago need to play, but we need to mark Kaka out of the game mainly.

Because our stars aren't rested, because you guys are on a roll, becuase Buffon is the greatest keeper alive, because we're distracted with fatso again, becuase Gila is starting, because Kaka's form has dropped, because our LB options are Sergi or Favalli, because our keeper is Dida, because I fear Seedorf won't be fully fit, because our domestic form is suffering, because our home form is suffering, and because you bastards are pretty damn good.

I can't believe that playing against on of the best attacking midfields in the world, and arguably the best destroyer, people are suggesting leaving out Nocerino.

We will need both him and Zanetti to try and compete. I like Tiago, but this is not the right moment for him.

try the avatar and signature thread for a picture. Welcome since you are quite new
:agree: welcome amigo.

no...he's left footed and cant cross with his right

Molinaro worries me, TBH....we'll see if Milan exposes him as our weak link in the chain

DP to come on in the second half and work some magic :pint:
Yeah, for some weird reason I have spoken to a lot of people and they seem to think Palla is right footed , I obviously disagreed. edit: im not sure if I should have though...

I agree with your other 2 points aswell.

Molinaro worries me too. He looked scared against Palermo god knows how he'll look like against Milan in San Siro.
I think that Milan rely on their wing backs for crosses so if he stays back, he should be able to stop them. Im not sure of he is as fast as Oddo though.

Molinaro was better offensively vs Palermo. VS Milan he'll have to worry about Oddo so he'll have to watch out for those crosses.

I'd play:

Buffon
Zebina-Legrottaglie-Chiellini-Molinaro
Zanetti
Nocerino-Tiago
Nedved
Iaquinta-Trezeguet
That looks like the kind of formation the Brazilian national team would play. Looks good though.

A win would be a big surprise for us...

At least he is honest!

Introducing two bench warmers against Milan sounds risky, let's not get carried away Milan can turn up tomorrow.

yes RAI International will show it live...TLN will show it sunday morning

He should go with this lineup and formation...its time for Marchionni to prove his worth while Camo's out injured

Molinaro worries me, TBH....we'll see if Milan exposes him as our weak link in the chain

Jesus, Vin, you should know Palladino is right footed.

This how I'd play it also but I doubt ranieri will do it.

somehow i think Palladino will take Camo's place, everybody is ruling him out of the starting lineup but I wont be surprised if ranieri fielded either him or Saly.

I don't see much diff between Roma's midfield and Milan. In-fact Roma's midfielders are much faster and do combine well together much more than Milan, incase you didn't notice that.

Both Iaquinta and Nedved can help defensivly, Zanetti is outstanding and Nocerino got stamina.

I don't see how we'll be playing counter attack system.

You would probably be satisfied with a draw, but I wont. We have what It takes to win the game and I trust the formation Jack posted, If It's only Pavel behind the attackers.
so u suggest we play Pavel behind 3 strikers & only Nocerino & zanetti in midfield but u dont see how we will play on counter attacks.
Actually,Ranieri played this formation against Roma coz he knew that he had no chance of contolling the midfield against a 6 man midfield Roma so he decided to defend & in the same time have 4 players who can play on counter attacks.
I dont think or better I hope he wont approach this match the same way coz with our current form & with Milan current form,I think we have every chance of playing head to head against Milan in san siro & thats why i want to see either a 4_4_2 formation or a 4_3_1_2 with Tiago starting.

So...
Ronaldo is injured and is out of this match.
It will be tough in atack for us, considering that we must start "Again" with a lone striker, while Pippo is not Fully Fit.
But also the good news for us is that, Camoranesi is also missing the trip.

Let the best team win.

I had written down 2. That one and this:

---------------Buffon------------------
Zebina---Legro---Chiellini---Molinaro
---------Zanetti---Nocerino------------
Iaquinta-----Del Piero--------Nedved
--------------Trezeguet----------------

I put down the more controversial one, and I want to see Almiron back on the pitch.
