Latest Gazzetta prediction:

Buffon
Lichtsteiner Bonucci Barzagli Evra
Cuadrado Sturaro Marchisio Pogba
Dybala Morata

With the above set of players, you can also switch to 433 with Cuadrado and Morata out wide or 352 with Licht at RCB.
4-3-3
Lichtsteiner Bonucci Barzagli Evra
Sturaro Marchisio Pogba
dybala-morata-cuadrado
cuadrado is suited to play as a winger but if Allegri puts 4 man backline and Lich and Evra start on wings cuadrado would be as striker or Dybala as trequartista

I like Gazzetta's 442. Pogba will cut in when we attack with Morata helping Evra in providing width (AS would be better). Licht and Cuadrado vs Insigne sounds good. As does Sturaro vs Hamsik. Looks solid defensively.

Relative to the Gazetta prediction...

Have Sturaro hit the bench, Marchisio and Pogs slide right one spot each, and throw in Alex Sandro at LM. I think that formation would be an interesting experiment. Not now, though...

I think we're playing 3-5-2, with Licht at RCB. That's what would make the most sense, here.

Good. Get Sandro in there and we got this.

That's what I've been saying. People need to realise that it isn't all that diffucult to change shape inside the game. Players can fulfill multiple roles during a game. For example when we are attacking and trying to score Morata plays more centrally but when we are defending and trying to contain the opponent Morata can play wider to help the fullback.

I have to disagree to your disagreeing then. No, he's not. you're better off just cutting off both his legs then, really.

He's been tried to play wide many times this season, did not work once and shouldn't now. It's a complete waste of talent.
Dramatic much. Morata will be used in a way Allegri thinks benefits the team if it means he has to sacrifice individually by playing a bit out of position then so be it. Football is a team sport where bunch of players need to work as group and win. I don't care where we play our players as long as that happens. He did well in that role against City also by defending well and offering some threat on the counter.

I like the idea of playing Lichtsteiner as a RCB. He's not that tall and a good jumper but has a decent header. He can also pass the ball and bring the ball to midfielders. With that in mind, I wouldn't experiment with the formations in such an important match. I'd play this:

    Morata - Dybala

Alex Sandro - Pogba - Marchisio - Khedira [Sturaro] - Cuadrado

    Barzagli - Bonucci - Lichtsteiner

    Buffon

By the way, Pogba to score. :MJ:
