Modric, Xavi, Mascherano, Kroos, Schweinsteiger, Iniesta, Pirlo.

So you think vidal is better then those
Was. In 2013/2014 season. You would have been saying this instead of me if he was still our player.

Plus it doesn't make sense to compare him to some of those players.

I would take Javi Martinez and Mascherano before Vidal. Ive always been very clear about my huge admiration of Mascherano. I would have taken both above Vidal.

It does make sense. We are seeing Vidal as an aggressive CM, that is allowed alot of freedom for attacking moves, wich and you, x or Osman will love to mention his offensive contribution.

Thus, it makes sense to list players who play CM, but also have alot of freedom to make forward runs and create, like iniesta. Iniesta, who can play CM, CAM and LW, but is mainly the most offensive of the 3 cm's at barcelona, like vidal was the most advanced midfielder of any mid3 he played in at juventus.

I however, did not include pure AM's.

Mascherano is a CB. For the rest of his life. You got to live with that, man.

Not when he plays for argentina.

I hope Dybala starts for argentina before mascherano is past his prime. He lost like 5? finals with argentina in wich he was MotM, but the forwards choked massively.

I need to stop, i'm getting angry.

He was the world's most complete player at that time.

A fucking beast defensively and a menace going forward.

You mention Mascherano who has been playing as a CB for years and Javi forever injured Martinez, and you know what? He still contributed more defensively than both of them combined while scoring 18 goals.

Oh and those AMs you'd pick ahead of him, how much did they contribute on defense?

As Alen said he was a 2 in 1 player, while most players excel on one side of the field he was unstoppable on both.

You're drunk, Zach. When Vidal got back in form, he carried this team to the CL final.
You mean, he was excellent in the madrid games, when the entire team was amazing and Modric was injured ?

Seriously guys, stop having me be the devils advocate here. I love vidal and i'm so sad he decided to go to a big team. But Mascherano is a better cdm, Modric is a better cm, and Iniesta is a better roaming cm. Thats all i'm saying.

Vidal is at his very best in a 3 man midfield, where Davids was amazing in any kind of midfield as the cdm/cm.

He was indeed. Mascherano absolutely domminates as CDM for argentina, and both contribute more defensively. But they dont score goals.

I rate Vidal's defensive contribution. But people are putting so much importance on the goals vidal scores when they compare him with davids, that they forget how much better davids was. So if defensive contribution ist important, then i'm listing cm's who are MUCH better offensively but contribute less defensively.

I havent listed any AM. Iniesta and Kroos play cm.

Lets just fucking end this and agree to disagree.

Fucking mes que un cancer and their asshole coach, ruining the last amazing cdm for that antifootball

It has absolutely nothing to do with the goals. Vidal was a monster defensively. Almost looked on drugs.

Vidal was a fucking beast for us defensively and offensively. The work he put in, the agressiveness and quickness of his feet when chasing the ball was crazy. I have never seen a player capable of doing this so impressively. He even owned when playing CB. And his passing game was top notch too, short and long range. Totally complete player, deciding game after game with his goals too. Vidal was so athletic and top tuned that he even scored amazing headers despite his small shape. Dominant for both Juve and Chile. Mascherano dont even get close to those years Vidal had a Juve. And stop comparing him to players like Modric, Iniesta, Xavi, Gerrard and Lampard. They dont contribute defensively nowhere near the same amount.

Not a bad looking stadium. They aren't finished overdoing the grand stand. When finished it will look pretty sweet. Already is the second best Italy has to offer (due to some very sad competition).
