Because they're pretty stacked upfront. Are they going to sacrifice Arda or Bellingham? Or another question, is Nico Paz able to bench either of them.
They can buy him back for either €9m or €10m over the next two summers, it's 100% happening. And if they don't find a place in their squad (he doesn't have to be guaranteed starter right away) then more fool them. They can sell him on for €60m+ and we can try (and most likely fail) to compete with richer clubs for him.

I wasn't doubting they are going to cash on him. I think it might be a similar case to Hakimi. He was great at bvb but eventually ended up at Inter because Real had Carvajal.
What richer clubs we're talking about? It's not like there are plenty of them.

Chelsea would buy him just for the lols, never mind the other clubs he must be interesting. A young player playing like this will interest everyone, and we're broke.
