It’s extremely shit.

Just look at how garbage Napoli’s squad is and realise that they lead this league for about 17 rounds. And this old man Inter team who can’t beat any big teams is still in first.

The less said about us the better.
At the moment we have the best defense in the league, with 21 conceded goals. And our defense is a joke. It's indeed a shitty league.

can they play ONE game without blatantly cheating

and don't even start with that "he was just protecting his face" bs. according to the rules in place in 2025, it's a penalty. and it's awarded against every other team.

dunno where to post it.

"A goalkeeper holding the ball for more than eight seconds will be punished with a corner for the opposition from this summer.

The new law was unanimously approved by the International Football Association Board (IFAB) at its annual general meeting in Northern Ireland on Saturday, and will be in place at Fifa's Club World Cup, which takes place in the USA from 15 June to 13 July."

new rules for world cups are usually implemented by the biggest leagues too, so it would be normal if serie a followed this change from next season

There's already supposed to be a law where it's a free kick if more than 6 seconds, isn't there? And I've rarely ever seen it given.

yes, and the punishment is an indirect free kick. i honestly don't remember a single case when it was enforced. kinda hard to follow the rule too. so it's like it never existed

this new rule might replace the current one :boh:

The existing rule is rarely implemented because they probably realized that it's unfair to give a 90% goal-chance just because the GK didn't get rid of the ball in 6 seconds. It's still there in order to remind the keepers not to waste a lot of time, but it's being ignored if the keeper keeps the ball for 7-10 seconds.

If they give corner kicks instead of indirect free kicks, the punishment for the keeper wasting time won't be radical, and that's why I believe that it will be implemented. The keepers will get their 8 seconds, but not a second more.

8 seconds is too little

10 seconds would be fair..
