And why there was VAR, when there is semi-auto offside system?
Perhaps the Udinese player didn't influence the goal-action at all, so even though VAR noticed the offside, it was up to the ref to decide if the goal should be disallowed for that offside?

I can't even follow the changes in the offside rule anymore. What happened to passive offside, anyone knows?

I think the system reacts, even if it has 1 milimetre offside. Nevertheless IMO he didn't influence the game. Total mess.

Vlahovic tries but he's not very convincing
I feel like whenever our players go down like that the first instinct of the ref is just to wave the player to get up anyway. I can distinctly remember similar incidences. Even yesterday when Kalulu is scythed down the default was to hold off giving it rather than give what looks most obvious to everyone and then get called back by VAR if necessary. They are conditioned.

Was there even a contact? What is with these players acting as if their legs are broken at the slightest touch? Like that cretin Pedro yesterday, he spent most of the time on the ground. Id be annoyed if ours did this shit. Embarassing stuff.
