on the other side retegui has done well to replace scamacca. nice to see cuadrado out of inter too and in atalanta

Think this goes along with what @Seven was saying the other day. When players are around 30 now and maybe not in the best physical or mental condition they simply stop playing as they no longer need to slog for a few more years to make a living before they retire.

And in Varane's case he really isn't going to add something significant to his career: he already won the Champions League and the World Cup.
