Given the timing it's not good at all, to risk European qualification by banking on a rookie who's already been sacked by spal sounds like an awful idea. But it's roma so it's good for me.
De Rossi has an awful record by SPAL. But I think SPAL has some bigger problems. In 2020 they played in Serie A, under De Rossi (and other coaches) they relegated to Serie C and this season they are in danger to relegate to Serie D.

nainggolan said that all the spal players were crying when ddr left, and he'll be a surprise at roma.

i'm glad that we played them before mourinho was sacked. it's always nice to beat mou

on an other note, there's an investigation on the links between inda's curva, management and organized crime. the first time i've heard about it, will look up the whole article

Not only that, but I saw an article on Tuttosport which revealed that the Milan Prosecutor's Office are dealing with a complaint filed against 2 of Inters players for threats of violence and violation of privacy. My Italian isn't great but from what I grasped it doesn't sound good:

These Juve affiliated journalists would find a lot of dirt on other teams if they did a little bit of digging.

dunno how serious italians treat privacy issues. the story is simple: there was a post match party involving inda and verona players (they played against each other earlier that day lol), and a young guy was forced outside of the club by two inda players who asked the kid to show them the pics on his phone, as well as social media accounts. they looked for pics featuring themselves. one of them allegedly was arnautovic.

the two inda players allegedly also forced the guy to say "milan merda" :lol3:

unfortunately this looks like some small investigation with zero publicity so far. it doesn't involve jj so there are no wiretaps, no headlines, no leaked documents from the prosecutors, nothing.

i really hope to see a proper public lynching of inda one day. the same way they do it with juventus every single time, be it calciopoli or the ridiculous plusvalenza case.

Juve is way more popular in the Arab world. Besides this format is just flat out dumb.
Another of Gravina's fantastic ideas to sell this league... by literally not having 2 of your most successful teams in it... literally that made in Italy advert for the league is comical, features the likes of martinez and giroud, hell even a random lecce player, but any close ups of any Juve players? No ofc not, not even Italys best attacker in Chiesa

not sure about the format, spain also introduced a similar 4-team mini tournament, it might be more beneficiary and makes sure for them that both real and barcelona are included even after a weaker season

the popularity though, that cannot be questioned. look at this lol (tweet's funny too):

Watched literally 2 mins of this crap... seen better atmosphere at a funeral. What a way to advertise your league Gravina.... made in Italy after all. I hope he realises how much the league depends on Juve for international appeal. Nobody outside of Italy gives 2 fucks about fiorentina or crapoli

That second photo is meme worthy. I agree if you are doing a 4 team tourney, maybe Juve needs to be there regardless...

gds acting once again as inda's mouthpiece, and that was their headline too lol

gotta give credit to max, he's annoying the shit out of a whole club and fan base with a one-liner

I love every bit of this. For too long Juve has played defense when it comes to public perception. Time to turn the tables on those snakes.

Aurelio De Laurentiis is under investigation for the Osimhen deal. The Rome Public Prosecutor's Office has closed the investigation foreshadowing the crime of false accounting. [@capuanogio)
