Napoli deserve it but it would be epic if they can find something about Napoli that could revoke their Scudetto.
Napoli deserve it, ADL is still a douche though...

On a serious note would have been entertaining to see what Napoli would have done with only one serious challenger this year. Although I probably know the answer to that already looking at their scudetto tally.
Yep.

There was no serious teams at all this season.

I don’t think they’ll be so lucky next season. Also, the World Cup break helped them imo. They did have their usual Spalletti slump, but it happened much later than usual this time.

It’ll be another new winner next season.

Step up, Salernitana!

Ahh yes, this explains how Napoli built upon their success in 1990 and didn’t win another scudetto for 33 years. :baus:
Serie A in the 90s had the world's best teams, you can't compare that era. Anyway, Inter and Milan coming off scudetto wins find themselves in UCL semi finals, one makes the final. Inter see off Benfica, crap performance or not they managed the victory while we got bummed. Milan tactically handle Napoli, we were humiliated. Napoli made their mark on UCL, they have important experience now and will feel comfortable in a tough UCL group.

Success is different for each club, so Napoli, Milan, Inter, and even Roma have made massive steps forward. The reality is that we scrape wins against relegation teams and lose to Maccabi Haifa. Do you see anything different next year?

Seeing these Neapolitans celebrate is nauseating. Makes you appreciate those 9 scudetti even more. I want to feel motivated and fired up for next season but I know its pointless unless there's a change in coach. Will just be another repeat of this.

Both Inter and AC Milan followed up their scudetto wins by... Not winning it again.
Ok, but someone else will win it next year that isn't Juventus and next thing you know, we're that club that talks about the scudetto we won a decade ago. Not too long ago we were here discussing how we're losing relevancy because of not winning the UCL but we've dropped off so far that winning the EL isn't a certainty.

If we were a serious club, we'd sack Allegri but he's happy to cement our current mentality of 'top 4 is the objective'. The landscape can change so quickly, just look at the EPL and consider who the main teams are going to be next season if big clubs like Chelsea and Liverpool don't make big changes.

We don't sack Allegri and play the same shit football next season. He leaves and we go for Conte because he's Italian. Drop out of UCL early. Either make a revolutionary change or just slip further away. Our decline in UCL is a lesson that you can't ignore because like a virus, it's spreading into our Serie A and Coppa Italia performance too.

You are being too dramatic. After back to back 7th place finish, how many people did expect a title at the beginning of 2011/12 season? Napoli had tremendous season domestically but there are slim chances they would hold onto some of their best players. Milan, inter, Lazio or Roma arent ahead of us. It is a small margin these days and considering we dwarf other teams in resources, we have far bigger chance to start another cycle. Few things need to click, like having a competent sporting director and going by the rumors we are working in that direction, less injuries, Al-legri rolling back to previous 1.0 version of himself. If the last isnt possible, he will be replaced. But to me it is clear we will start winning soon, maybe as soon as the next season. After 9 titles in a row, spending few seasons on the margins happens to most big clubs. They dont become irrelevant in a few years. Its a long game and we have time and resources to play with.

Whom to believe one who is always pessimistic or the one who is always optimistic?
