"The team finishing fifth, along with the Coppa Italia winner (if the Coppa Italia winner finishes outside the top five) or the team finishing sixth (if the Coppa Italia winner finishes inside the top five), qualify for the UEFA Europa League group stage. The sixth or the seventh ranked club, depending on the Coppa Italia winner's league performance, joins the final qualification round of the UEFA Europa Conference League."
So since Juventus and Inda are in the final of coppa and top4 clubs it means that 6th placed team will go the europe league, and if Roma wins their final then 7th placed too, right? Also 8th placed will go to the conference league qualifications? Will be very good to see Roma, Lazio, Atalanta and FIorentina in european tournaments if so

Pioli has done a very good job tbh, and they made some smart transfer moves. Giroud's impact can't be understated. Plus unlike other teams in the top 6, Milan are the only ones to have the same manager from last season so they just work better as a unit.

Pioli has done a superb job but it's not like he has been a top coach throughout his career. The stability of keeping the same coach (not like he ever risked the sack), not making wholesale changes and the momentum he built are huge factors. Plus Inter, Napoli and Juve had the opposite with all 3 changing coaches, with Inter and Juve both losing key players in Lukaku/Hakimi and Ronaldo.

Milan could have easily sacked him after they missed out in the champions League qualification in Pioli first season but their patience seems to have worked along with the good work of the management mostly which has been the most impressive aspect.

The disrespect towards Pioli is insane, like he's not the main reason for Milan's success.

I swear If Milan will win the title then the media will go crazy about Ibra, Maldini, Tomori, Tonali, and Pioli will be in the end of the list of people who will be named behind Milan's success lol but he should be the first in that list.
