Sarri is one Lorenzo Insigne away from build a pretty good team, if he can sell Correa and acquire Insigne then Lazio will be serious contender for UCL spot leaving Napoli by far. Lazio Milan Roma and Atalanta will be 4 horse race for next spot after Juventus and Inter

Lazio's midfield is already solid, if he get players that know his system on both wings , that would be great for him

I know but I've never seen them use that one before. In fact, it seems they only use is on this season's third kit.

Quite similar. I bet there's some shared history there. @JuveJay

I don’t think so, Genoa is st George’s cross. Whilst Depor’s is clearly purple. There won’t be any link between the two of them expect they were probably used on maritime trade for a very long time, Genoa being in the Med from A Coruna not being in the Med. Hence, I think it’s fair to say there is no connection at all.

U wish bro. Lazio scored 3 in first half. 2nd goal was class.
It won't happen, but never forget that Juve Napoli game when we were up by 3 by 60th minute.

In other news Marcus Thuram busted his knee, and probably won't be moving to Inter

You said Gasperini in the summer… :shifty:
I said Gasperini`s style would suit our current team. I dont enjoy Atalanta`s football that much although I do appreciate their attacking intent and think Gasperini has done a magnificent job.
The team I liked the most in terms of playing style was Lazio.

You like Inzaghi's football the most?
When he coached Lazio - yeah.
It doesnt mean I think he is the best coach in the world. I just like the way he plays.

Lazio under Sarri still shaky at the back, Empoli can get some nice chance but they failed to convert so far. It will be waiting for them to get a better team, if they fail then it will decrase their trust in Sarri and ruin their season

Verona vs Sassuolo (Draw 1-1/2-2) X
> The red card really hurt Verona, but they still have the fighting spirit to get 2 goals after they play with 10 men, my prediction is missed by 1 goal to Sassuolo
> Di Fransesco will be in big trouble because next round they will get Inter, after that the International break where he must gain 3 points against Bologna to ensure his stint there. If he fail it will be like his previous season with Samp and Cagliari

Inter vs Genoa (Inter to Win by 1 or 2 goals margin) V
> Inter really surprise me as the new players get on the high gear just like they already play together
> This is still early in the season and they still not meet a bigger opponents, but their performance are really convincing
> Genoa can't handle their constant attack and not really giving a threat to them, I predict they somehow can give some fight. But that is not really the case today

Empoli vs Lazio (Lazio to win by 1 goal margin) V
>
Lazio is lucky have a great midfielder in SMS, he turn the game around for Lazio
> Lazio still shaky in their defense, and this can be exploit by better team than Empoli to punish them
> We can say they still don't play the Sarri way, but their 2nd goal is really beautiful. the pass from SMS is delizioso

Torino vs Atalanta (Atalanta to win by 1 or 2 goals margin) V
> Torino actually play a pretty good match,it is the prove that Juric is one of the upcoming coach in Serie A, while Torino is improve by his presence the same can't be side for his former side Verona
> Need to watch out for Torino as they can put a good performance against mid table teams
> I am a little surprise that Belotti can play and get a goal, that is a miss information that maybe can change the outcome tough

True.

He seems to be tailor made for teams that don’t demand trophies season in season out. Less expectation and thus more room for him to implement his style of play. I fully expect Lazio to be in contention for a top 4 spot.

As I said on post #277 it's going to be a dogfight between us and merda until the winter, at least.
Right until we start to win ugly, our usual looking boring match, the underwhelming but i'l take it kind. At that point merda is going to make a pazza inda and that's all she wrote.
Those wins were the Allegri special, the matches that pours ciment in our opponents boots.
