Penalties received in a single serie A season (all-time record):

01. Lazio 18 (2019/20)
02. Genoa 16 (2019/20)
03. Milan 15 (2002/03)
04. Lecce 15 (2019/20)
05. Sampdoria 14 (1993/94)
06. Lazio 14 (1995/96)
07. Inter 14 (1998/99)
08. Piacenza 14 (1998/99)
09. Milan 14 (1999/00)
10. Milan 14 (2020/21) *

Only a matter of time before Milan beat the record. They are at 14 at half-season.
The 2019/20 totals should have asterisks next to them anyway. So 15 is the real target.

DZEKO THE JUVE ANSWERS PRESENTLY!

The transfer of Sami Khedira to Hertha Berlin will be official in the next few hours, this means that Juventus have put aside the budget for a last minute shot on tomorrow's day.

And an offer was made for Edin Dzeko on a dry loan until 30/06 with Juventus's full salary.

Nothing else in return but the opportunity to remove a bulky salary from the yellow-red budget especially if the breakup with Fonseca doesn't heal.

Now the ball passes to Rome that will have to solve the Bosnian centravant issue in the next 24 hours. Holding their captain despite having a bad relationship with the coach or accepting Juventus offer and then finding another coach in July and a residual contract year?

Rome in a few minutes will take the field against Verona for the regular championship day and at the end of the match it will be hot hours...

Dzeko's future will be decided and Paratici is ready to make the deal!

Let’s get Dzeko before the Roma game.

The only way this would have a point is if we sell Dybala. Otherwise we don’t need another forward. We have enough already.

Now, if we were selling Dybala to find a move for a WC Midfielder, maybe then bringing Dzeko to rotate with Morata would make sense. But even then we’d be selling Dybala with his value massively suppressed due to underperforming that past 6 months, winter Mercato during COViD, etc. So doesn’t seem all that smart.

news talk about a dry loan for the 2nd half of the season. yup, half-year loan. it is unrelated to the dybala situation.

In a regular season I'd say don't waste the money. In a season such as this one we should do it, the difference between 1st and 2nd in Serie A will probably be 1-3 points and we're very thin upfront in a season were we play every 3 days. If Morata gets injured, we're fucked. If he doesn't, we could still use Dzeko, our attack functions much better with a CF. Even if he brings extra 2 goals, it might as well be the difference for Scudetto or CL next round

Pirlo has a certain attack style now: no long balls to Morata but long balls for the wingers, CF drifts down the channels, crosses for tap ins but few for headed goals. I don't think Dzeko style is how we play anymore.
