How much was Pirlo earning? Nothing compared to what Dybala, Higuain and DeLigt earn today. Tevez earned a high salary for that time, but not excessively so. You cannot expect to pay low wages to top players AND expect to pay low or zero transfer fees for them. Football doesn’t work that way. Can you name a single player, a single top player (not a youngster that became famous) that was bought for cheap and for low wages? This is such a retarded standard to hold anyone to. :sergio:
Pirlo was one of our highest earners when he joined, behind Buffon and on par with chiellini. Given at the time pirlo joined many here thought he was finished it was one gamble we were lucky it paid off.
