Man, I'll never forget that period. WE WERE ABSOLUTE SHIT! We were so horrible to watch it was disgusting and sadly that shit lasted for a loooong time. Then Conte came and our team instantly started shining, biting and fighting with their heart. You could literally see their hunter and how they run, ripping the grass aparat with the every step. It was like watching beasts and I loved it. That was Juve. Conte brought that here after a horrible and dry performances where we looked like a Serie C team. I don't care what others think, to me Conte was a project that revived Juve and I was sad to see him leave. He brought the winning mentality, respect and reputation to Juve who had it lost.
Conte, Marotta and Pirlo are the main reasons for this club's revival IMO. The disrespect spewed at the first two is just sad imo, regardless of joining Inter they are still Juve legends for me, as is Pirlo.

They used to be legends. In a world where calciopoli didn't happen, they still are.
I wonder what you would have thought if del piero joined inda after he left Juve?

I'm still waiting for the press to ask Conte how many scudettos, Juve has, because as a true Juventino there is only one answer. Same goes for marotta.
You think del piero would answer wrong or evade the answer?

Pirlo is without a doubt a legend. Couldn't care less whether he was an Inter or Milan player before. What he showed here and how he performed was magnificent.

But without a proper guidance even Pirlo would choke, as he did at some point in Milan.

Said it before, of course it's funny to laugh at them now if they fail, but that isn't going to eradicate what they've done for my club. I understand if the opinions on this differ, but that's how i feel about it.

Have you considered the possibility he isnt a mediocre player anymore? Players grow and peak in different periods of their careers. He has scored at the minimum of 26 goals for 4 straight seasons with Lazio. He figured out his shit.
Like I said, maybe he's just a late bloomer. Doesn't change the fact he was a massive flop in Sevilla and Dortmund, but agreed that he's doing good now.

Grateful for all his work here but feel like marotta is taking a swipe at us with his comments: “I’m proud to represent Inter, which are one of three present who have never been relegated,”. That's said, it's laughable to hold 'never been relegated' as some sort of accolade.

i dont think that was very bad, come on he is a professional and has to talk up his new club and, when your previous club is juventus, its pretty hard to talk up Inter. the never relegated thing is really all youve got.

Objectively them being 3 time CL winners is worthy to be proud of. Never been relegated brings other connotations.

what a retarded argument. in 1922, only administrative measures saved inda's ass who finished dead last in their group.

Marotta is bitter to have been pushed out, let him be salty. He did great things for us but sometimes you can be let down by the likes of Krasic, the guy who looked like Nedved but played like Djemba Djemba.

Barzagli, Pirlo, Pogba....?
Vidal was like 11m.

he did great things and bad things. Like many GMs do. To be known as the best you have to have much much more hits than misses.
I dont think moses and young are earning half as much as llorente, Tevez, pirlo did. People forget wages and just look at the face value of things. That's what I'm talking about

Add Tevez to the list, Llorente was good as well, especially in his first year. Then Bentacur as part of Tevez deal, etc... Marotta has an eye for cheap and useful signings.
Depends what you actually call cheap. I'm talking proper cheap signings, not ones who commanded a transfer fee or high wages.
People say eriksen is cheap without realising his excessive wage.

At the same time, it's not really fair to only consider a signing a good value one if a top level player has to get paid less than they're worth. There's virtually none of those, then.

I guess Ronaldo is a terrible signing with the wages we’re paying him... Another Tootsie disaster. :lol3:

He just can’t help himself. Digs a deeper and deeper hole with each new post.

How much was Pirlo earning? Nothing compared to what Dybala, Higuain and DeLigt earn today. Tevez earned a high salary for that time, but not excessively so. You cannot expect to pay low wages to top players AND expect to pay low or zero transfer fees for them. Football doesn’t work that way. Can you name a single player, a single top player (not a youngster that became famous) that was bought for cheap and for low wages? This is such a retarded standard to hold anyone to. :sergio:

I urge you not to even bother with him. The cognitive dissonance is real with Badass.

You should look up how they won the first two CLs (ref bribes, one ref confessed, not to mention caffe herrera), and the third one was on the back of Calciopoli.

I even doubt he's a late bloomer, maybe a little better bc these are peak years. He did very well with Torino too. He's just a Lazio level player.

Club directives. They all have the same talking points. "We are Inter," "we never got relegated," "treble." Zanetti, Zhang, auselio, and now Marotta all keep repeating the same lame nostalgic, excuse-laden programmed lines ad nauseum.
