While many are (were?) Pipita fans, almost every Juventino thinks it was a poor transfer. Very few realize what a shrewd buy that was. One of the best under Marotta+Paratici duo. Most can't think past the transfer fee, age, and habit of choking in finals.

Very, very underrated signing that kept the scudetti coming (Napoli easily could've won one if not two scudetti with Higuain) and helped us finish top of CL group (which helped us reach the final).

habit? just more of that provisional mentality that is in the bloodstream of every (non-juventus) italian side. Folks here complain that we don't stick up for ourselves by doing this sort of shit but really the rest of Italy is just stuck in that mentality that has no appeal on a wider stage.

Genuinely embarrassing from that club. But what’s new? Imagine even bothering to tweet about that. What difference did it make to the outcome of the game - none.

Peasant league, peasant country. But hey, #JuveOut, because it is of course easier to blame better and more superior clubs like us than it is manning up and trying to improve your own lot in life.
