he peaked in 14/15, he grew bigger than the shell called Sassuolo and should have left at that moment. the longer he stayed there the more he would stagnate obviously, add in the injuries and there you go - bench player for inda is the best he can hope for now

and we earned money on him even though he never played a single minute for us #co-owns :beppe:

Or did he? Might just be happy where he is now. Less money and zero tituli, sure, but also close to no pressure.
I can see why one would pick that over a top club where you get shit on after one bad performance.

I agree and it looks like that's the case. It's simply that when you have the opportunity to make a career as a footballer, improving and looking what's best for you is also fulfilling.
