Atalanta has had a great preseason, not that it means much. I wonder if they can keep pace with the top 6/7 again this season or if playing in Europe will take away from their domestic form.

Geoffrey Kondogbia turned up for Inter training this morning, but he’s training away from his teammates.

The French midfielder infuriated the club when he refused to turn up for Friday’s session, as he looks to force through a move to Valencia.

It was feared he would submit a medical certificate to get out of training this week, but Kondogbia did turn up at Appiano Gentile today.

According to Premium Sport he met with sporting director Piero Ausilio before the session began, and that the former Monaco man will be fined around €200,000.

It seems a move to Spain may be getting closer though, with the idea to exchange loan deals with Joao Cancelo.

Kondogbia is training apart from his teammates today, partly as punishment for going AWOL and partly in anticipation of potential transfer developments.

What a tinpot club, lmao.

Kalinic deal delayed?
By Football Italia staff

The delay in finalising Nikola Kalinic’s move to Milan is reportedly due to Fiorentina being unconvinced by the method of payment.

The striker is believed to be close to joining the Rossoneri, but so far no deal has been agreed between the two clubs.

Today Kalinic refused to turn up for training, seemingly in an effort to force the move through, but FirenzeViola is reporting further delays to the deal.

According to the website, the Viola aren’t convinced by the forms of payment being offered, nor by the financial guarantees the Diavolo are currently offering.

Given they have signed Giovanni Simeone, Fiorentina feel they very much hold all the cards, as they’re now covered in attack whatever happens.

It’s still likely that Kalinic will join Milan, but the Rossoneri will have to offer a different method of paying the rumoured €25m plus bonuses.

I'm glad Milan are going for Kalinic. Would've been worried a bit if they landed Belotti/Aubameyang, now they still have a chance at not making CL :p
