If Dybala scored his penalties, he'd score more under Allegri too, and Juventus would be atop the table. :seven:

 at all this Sarri praise. Juventus 61 goals. Napoli 54 goals.

Amazing that we have scored 61 individual brilliance or underwhelming but I'll take it kind of goals. We'd be in relegation zone if only team build-up goals counted :baus:

Supremely retarded
Whats wrong with the Sarri praise? He's going on an impossible pace in league with a club whose wage bill is 5th in the league and less then a half of Juve's. I'd say he's performing a miracle. And I hate that miracle and hope they lose the next five in the row, but I cann acknowledge that he's more than the "incredible crybaby" he's being portrayed as on this forum

Niples got lucky again. With CHL qualification almost secured, they should be thinking about firing Sarri for next season so they can finally unleash that massive potential in Europe. Cant have that naive tiki taka football in europe.

This. Nothing wrong with appreciating Sarri’s style but saying Allegri is worse is ridiculous. He has Juve on top of Napoli on every stat besides being 1 point behind which wouldn’t be the case if Dybala hadn’t missed his penalties.

Regardless, Juve will still win the Scudetto and Allegri has once again righted the ship after dealing with a changed team. The form Juve is in is nothing short of amazing and imo is more impressive than napoli’s. 1 goal conceded in 17 games. That’s crazy numbers.

:agree:

There are light years between Juventus and Napoli when considering individual quality of players and the fact that Napoli have 3 reliable subs at best. Imagine the shitstorm Bayern would be getting if they were trailing by a point in Bundesliga.

Let's be real here, Allegri has a better squad to work with than Sarri.

If you made a combined XI of Juventus and Napoli, we would have 8-9 players while Napoli would have maybe 2-3 players. Our bench is much stronger than theirs too.

There would be something seriously wrong if we weren't better than Napoli, given the quality and depth of our squad.

Dude don't talk sense around here unless you're praising Juve in a positive light

But who are saying that apart from some obscure posters?

Sarri has done great job at Napoli, Allegri has done a great job at Juventus. Both are top Italian coaches. Would Sarri do as well in Juventus as Allegri? I doubt it. Just as I doubt Allegri would do as well as Sarri has done in Napoli with the current squad. Sarri is the better coach, Allegri is the better tactician/manager.

It's clear that some posters (not specifically you in this case) aren't capable of distancing themself from their personals beliefs and fellings towards Napoli/Sarri and/or Juventus/Allegri creating un-nuanced view of Sarri/Allegri to confirm their narrative. Psychology has already made it clear that we react to inconvenient truths as if they were personal insults; you don't find a more inconvenient truth than Napoli actually winning the Scudetto.

Altho about politics, it is just as relevant for football fans

Partisan identities get tied up in our personal identities. Which would mean that an attack on our strongly held beliefs is an attack on the self. And the brain is built to protect the self.

Moving on...I think there is a higher chance of napoli dropping points against a highly motivated relegation threatened team than expecting one of the top 7 trying to take them on

I an sorry but how an I obscure?

I think Sarri is a better coach than Allegri, because I think he gets more out of Napoli than Allegri does at Juve. Both WC coaches, who have their strenghts and weaknesses. I can see the argument for, why it is the other way around and respects other people, who have that opinion, but what I cant stand is people thinking it is necessarry to call other people obscure, because of a perfect valid opinion.

Welcome to Juventuz

They only want to see everything through their own eyes and if you don't agree with them or show a different opinion you know nothing about football and have a terrible opinion that doesn't matter and the insults flow

lol its nothing like that. do you know a team in BL capable of collecting 63/72 points? Napoli so far has only 1 loss (to us) and 3 draws, with that theyd be top of BL as well (Bayern 2 draws 2 losses, same as us). good comparision would be Monaco last season. PSG won the 3rd most points they ever had but still finished 2nd - because Monaco finished with freakin 95 pts! last 2 years we had 91 pts, this season we are doing even better than last season (62 vs 60 pts after 24 games), but are still 2nd. thats because Napoli is a great squad that stayed together for a few years, that is out of CL and Coppa early and is dealing with no injuries to key players apart from Ghoulam. and they have a great coach. an improvement from last years 86 pts (most all time by a 3rd placed team, if they finished 2nd with that many pts would be 3rd most all time behind Milans 88 in 2006 and Romas 87 last season) was to be expected

They are very insecure, criticism to the team is a personal attack to them
More like, a challenge to their opinion is a personal attack that they can’t stomach. It’s hilarious actually because as soon as the insults come you know you already either winnig the argument or at least challenging them. A little push back and they lose their minds.
