That December super coppa win by mulan, remember how their club and fans celebrated it?

Then there was the whole Agnelli was pissed and rumours about an internal friction.

5 months later and here we are. :touched:

All this Totti buttlicking is getting annoying. He used to be a good player and a great player before that, but he's been useless for a while. Way past his expiry date, plus he's always been a disgusting piece of crap.

Napoli and Roma may play more attractive football than us and they have scored more goals than us but 1 fact remains: THE BEST DEFENSE WINS YOU THE SCUDETTO!

What a fall from grace. Pathetic (but beautiful) how far that club has fallen. Celebrating 6th place and an EL spot :touched:
But they only qualified to Europa League 3rd qualifying round, not group stage. :D

I don't even understand where that is coming from. Napoli can play very nice, very direct football at times. And I admit it's fun to watch. But the way we move as a team is brilliant, as is the way we get out of tight spaces. I think we play incredible football and I love to watch us play.

I have to agree. Theres no beauty in leaking goals because u want to score hattricks everygame.

Theres also beauty in a well engineered, tactical team. We all love goals, but even when we score less than them.. the way we move as a group, the way we defend, the way we shut down rivals and how great is our attacking transition, is also beautiful.

No way, man. We play more efficient football. I do love the way we play but at least Napoli [aside from being chokers] plays more attractive to the eye.

I disagree, because:

Think it should be here in this bread:

Did you check whoscored's Serie A top players and top teams? Dominated by Roma and Napoli.
Well, at least they have something to celebrate. (apart from the anniversary of their last scudetto).
i just did. caldara :tuttosport:

it's interesting to see how those ratings work. roma were the best rated team of the whole campaign, we're 3rd, inter are 4th (probably due to their good mid-season run after pioli's appointment), the other teams' rankings reflect more or less their true rankings.

i don't see a huge roma-napoli domination, though:
roma: 3 players
napoli: 2 (mertens didn't make the team, though. he had a yearly rating of 7,74, papu gomez just overtook him with 7,75)
juve: 2
atalanta: 2
lazio: 1
milan: 1
Who are the names? i'm curious...

inzaghi turned him into a wingback, and he had excellent defensive stats, while he never stopped being useful in attack, too. i read that anderson played as a right defender way back in brazil, so it wasn't all new to him after all.
