Sad, end of an era.

If by Sad, you mean an Era where 1 player is with 1 club all his life? Sure.

If by Sad, you mean the player specifically? Fuck no. Great talent, classless piece of shit with a woe-is-me loser mentality. Always blaming everyone else, constantly saying how he could have went to Real Madrid. Well, maybe you should've fucking gone then. Because Roma probably would have been better off without you and your primadonna ways, where they had to bend over backwards to make sure that you were happy at all costs.

And of course the lemmings in Roma ate that shit up, so they got what they deserved too.

He was much more then world class talent (talent signifies unfullfilled, like Cassano), complete world class legend individually, but agreed with rest.

Meh, I'm not really sure about that. Totti has simply never been a very intelligent man. I can overlook his vices.

As for Roma being better off without him. I highly doubt it. Roma have never been a big team in Italy. If anything they're significantly better off now than before Totti.

There have been dumber people that have shown far more grace than this clown. Intelligence, or lack thereof, is no excuse for having no decency.

I've already wasted too much bandwidth on this moron as it is.

    I'll miss Totti definitely.

If you grew up in the 90's loving and watching serie and cheering for the Italian NT then there is no way it's not going to affect you when Totti retires in couple of weeks.

I don't really care about his character and the fact that he probably disliked/hated Juve as much as Lazio but he added a flavor to serie a just like other legendary icons did in the 90's.

You need players like Totti in serie a, it makes the whole thing more entertaining because fact is he can be a dick but still entertain the living shit out of you.

Him, Del Piero, Baggio, Vieri, Maldini, Nesta, Cannavaro, Buffon soon, Toldo and many others ... what a generation, serie a was really packed with world class players.

Fuck Totti. Biggest piece of shit to have graced Italian football for years now. He is only respected by his own out of loyalty. He's done fuck all for about 10 years now
You know very little in football my friend.

I always fond of Maldini tbh, since he's resemble class..
But as serg said before, he's total cunt, and have a little to boast, so he keep talking about real madrid..
Kinda remind me the great line of "remember where we came from"

He is a football genius, and pretty much enrichend Serie A for 25 frigging years.

His insane creativity will go down as stuff of legends really despite being more known for his 220-ish league goals since:

Huge as individual player, very small and classless as a man. What he did to Carsten Ramelow will remain a very low bar and telling example of his pathetic persona (as was the spit, and all other petulant manchild behaviour).

Someone like Totti can be repetitive about certain things because he's done a lot and was a worldclass player at the highest level. He can backup for the fact that he's a dick because his skills/talent speak for themselves.

You got players like Cassano and Balotelli that have achieved nothing but are repetitive and ignorants and are literally nothing in football world. Those type of players yes I'd agree and should probably shut their mouth and be thankful everyday they can eat and pay rents and afford luxury because they've done nothing.

Inda were never really going to tempt Simeone to the job next season were they? I mean we are talking about one of the most in demand managers in the world, why on earth would he go to a club like inda in the current state they are in?

A club that thinks throwing money at the problem will solve it all? some things never change, the best they can hope for is spalletti.

Please enlighten me what has Totti actually done in the last 10 years?

Neutrals and roma fans alike only consider him a 'legend' because of the loyalty he has shown to the club. In reality he has pretty much achieved next to nothing, not to the same scales as true legends like Del Piero, Maldini, Baggio.

Totti and Baggio have had very similar careers when it comes to trophies, with the exception that Totti actually scored the penalty that mattered.

Remember that he could have easily achieved a lot into his personal cabinet but his love for Rome, the fans and the club was above anything.

Ronaldo the brazilian hasn't won serie a in his best finest form and hasn't won CL either with any of the teams he played for. That's an example.

Juve and Milan were top 3 teams in the world back in the 90's and in 2000's he did win a Scudetto and I don't think any other player could have done more TBH.

You have to respect that he chose Rome over hall of fame trophies, you also can't argue that his talent and impact at teams like Real Madrid, Juventus, Milan, United would have easily added to his cabinet several trophies.

unlike Ronaldo, Totti did embarrass his nation by spitting on players and slapping others.

Thank fuck Juve never wanted Totti, they wouldn't want such a classless piece of shit in their team
