What's trash, is a league where teams play with no intentions or hopes of winning. Apart from Juve, Italian teams are the definition of trash. Sure, Napoli can give some teams a run for their money but they'll still get fucked.

And about the competitive part, a league is a competition. It's not a concept the English came up with. A competition that is not competitive is shit.
and where is that supposed to be?

a competition that doesent have any standout teams is "competitive" in the eyes of clueless fans. Italy has Juve, Spain has Madrid/Barca, Germany has Bayern. Englad hasnt had a team of this caliber since 2009, which is why everyone can win it. its not because they have 5-6 great teams that its so "competitive", its because the supposed good teams are trash, which allows the actual trash teams to be on par with them

as long as we keep rolling in the money and continue distancing ourselves from the rest of the pack I don't care how trashy the league gets.

Champions League is our priority now...the Serie A is simply a training ground runabout.

Germany has also turned into trash now that Dortmund sucks. La Liga has Real and Barca which proves my point and they also have Atletico who has proven they're capable of winning.

I agree.
if Bayern didnt exist, youd be here talking me into Bundesliga being so competitive. theyre so trash that their 14th placed team kicked out the english vicechampion in the CL groupstage.

and Atletico won it once in 15 years or more, everything else since 2004 is Real and Barca, and by quite a margin too (compared to the rest, not each other). and since you still havent said anything good enough to support that the EPL is stronger than Serie A, you better try come up with something

What silliness. Any given team can win it because the top teams have taken a swan dive as far as it quality goes in the past few years. Juventus is miles better than any EPL team. Roma and Napoli are both better than anyone in EPL this year.
Thats pretty impressive considering how much both Sarri and Spalletti sucks.

He's actually pretty good. Hasn't been around long enough to know just how good. Would be nice if he didn't look like such a hobo on the sidelines, but whatever. He's a good coach, in his brief career thus far. If he manages to catch Roma for 2nd, I'll be impressed by that, considering Roma has the superior quality players in my opinion. Need to see more of him at the top level before deciding how good he is.

Spalletti underperformed massively with the squad he has this year. He has one of the best squads in Europe as far as players go, below the obvious top teams like Bayern, Real, Barca, Juve.... Similar level to PSG, Atletico, Chelsea, City, Dortmund, Monaco, etc as far as on paper goes. Lacks a bit of depth is all, though in part his reluctance to rotate and use his depth options is partly to blame there. But finishing 10-ish points behind us, getting knocked out of Coppa by city rivals Lazio, getting knocked out of CL qualifying by Porto, and EL Rof16 by Lyon, is just pathetic. He shit the bed in almost every big match Roma had this season. Poor tactics, easily overcome. Poor subs. Generally looks clueless when things go wrong, and so do his players.

Nah. Roma actually has a super strong first XI. When you look at bench options they fall behind, I will say that.

Spalletti sucks. Stop trying to make him out to be better than he is.

and you just hate the guy, so you will say anything to blame him for. their team is strong yes, but these teams are simply better (on paper that is, on the pitch is a different matter). Spalletti has 2 failures this season, not qualifying for CL (thanks to red cards mostly) and going out vs Lyon. he also got destroyed by Lazio few times which might be worse for their fans than the things i mentioned

Cant figure out if you are trolling or not. Roma having one of the best squads in Europe :sergio: Must be one of the most retarded statements I ever read on Tuz. They have one maybe two really good players (Radja and Manolas), the rest is good to average at best. You really think That Romas squad can compete with PSG or Chelsea for example.

What made you change your mind about Sarri by the way. A month ago he was a naive hobbo, who could not set up a defense if it would save his life.

BTW both Napoli and Inter has better players than Roma.
