With Roma selling Pjanic to us and Milan, Fiorentina and Inter being average as they are, Napoli remains our main rival in Italy. They have won two Coppa's and one Supercoppa in these 5 years of our domination so they're not to be underestimated, especially if Higuain and Hamsik stay.
?

Napoli had like 0 injuries this year, while we had 60 or so injuries. Higuain had the best season of his career by a country mile.

We also had the worst start to a season in the history of Juventus and were in the lower half of the table after 10 rounds.

We still won Serie A easily by 9 points.

I'd say it's more likely that we annihilate them even worse next year.

Koulibaly:

The 24-year-old has a contract until 2019, but he is clearly not satisfied about the current terms and is thinking of moving on.

"I had two positive seasons and now there are some offers on the table," Koulibaly told L’Equipe. "I’ll choose for the best, not only from a financial point of view, but also in terms of the sport.

"Many high-profile clubs want me and I haven’t had any sign from Napoli. Talk for a renewal is at a dead end and the club never wanted to talk to us about it.

"I’m under the impression that I’ll leave. Napoli aren’t giving any signs of life, they vanished. I want to take one step up in my career and I’ll probably do that by playing abroad."

Azzurri Coach Antonio Conte will be taking the reins of Chelsea next season, and he could make for a useful contact.

"I haven’t spoken with him, but I could do that soon. If nothing happens with Napoli I’ll start getting in touch with other clubs. Yes, I could adapt myself to the Premier League.’’
ADL's response:
"He signed a contract for another three years, he will not be leaving Napoli and he will receive a fine. As he is an employee here and there is a Players’ union, I can only fine him so much.

"I was called on the phone by around 20 sponsors who were going to sign important contracts with us, but stepped back because Koulibaly’s image has lost credibility."

"At this point, this lack of sponsorship contracts will weigh on the player and he’ll probably have to pay Napoli millions over the next few years."

ADL is like an open book when it comes to his transfer dealing, he just tells you everything? lol

I negotiated for Zielinski with the Pozzo family and we finalised every detail,” De Laurentiis told the Corriere dello Sport.

“Instead it now seems as if the player is doing everything possible to resist the move and not come here. He wants Liverpool.”

It’s reported the Poland international wants to hang on and wait for Liverpool to revive their interest.

“Maybe he has never been to Naples, or just loves The Beatles… If I were Zielinski, I’d run here. I’d tell him, are you not interested in playing the Champions League with Maurizio Sarri as your teacher?”

De Laurentiis also discussed other activity on the transfer market.

“I am negotiating for seven players and am counting on securing at least three. Hector Herrera and Gianluca Lapadula are realistic names, while I did also contact Monaco for Fabinho.

“We have 11 first choice players, then we can count on the likes of Dries Mertens, Manolo Gabbiadini, Vlad Chiriches, Ivan Strinic and Mirko Valdifiori. I must say Valdifiori can’t be that useless, because everyone is asking me for him.

“I paid €10m for Alberto Grassi, Sarri really likes David Lopez, then with Lorenzo Tonelli and Rafael that takes us to 20 players. How is that not enough?

“I told Valencia that Raul Albiol costs €15m, otherwise he is staying with us. That’s the case even if he goes towards the end of his contract and doesn’t reach an agreement to renew.”

ADL with more on Koulibaly:

“I had thought Koulibaly was a good man. The moment I realise you and your agent haven’t read the contracts properly before signing them, I cannot tolerate that.

“Napoli were about to sign new commercial deals to use Koulibaly’s image, but his statements cancelled those opportunities. His jersey cannot be sold now.

“He created damages worth millions of Euros and I have specialists studying the issue now. I would hate for Koulibaly to work for life in order to make up for this.

“I’m disappointed he didn’t just call me and ask if Napoli intended to sell Koulibaly or not. I don’t bother other clubs, approaching their players who are under contract.

“If we discovered that Chelsea were behind this, then we could sue them for damages too. Koulibaly is 24 years old, he is not a kid. We stood by him when he was jeered in his first season.

Out of respect for the club and Sarri, he should not have made those statements. Apologising to the fans is not enough. He will continue working for us for the three years on his contract and maybe many more until he’s paid off the damages to Napoli.
 :inter:

I'd have serious reservations about signing a contract to play for a buffoon who threatens to sue his players for saying they would like to leave for another club. This is pretty common practice for agents and players trying to renegotiate contracts and get a raise. Suing him for lost sponsorship dollars.

I think the Pozzos are the classiest bunch out of the clowns that run clubs in Italy. I genuinely like and admire Udinese as a club and the way they approach their football and set up.

I personally think Higuain believes he can't offer the club any more and will ask to be sold. They lose him and I can see Sarri having to course correct quite a bit depending on who they buy.

Ziewlinksi - I rather play for 8th place EPL club and than second place Serie A club.

Q&A with De Sciglio

“Who is the biggest joker of the squad? There are several, above all Gigi Buffon, Salvatore Sirigu, Daniele De Rossi and Leo Bonucci.

Gigi & Bon :touched:

And I know a member here cums on De Sciglio photo's, he definitely asked this question:

“Some of my teammates did tell me I resembled Peter Parker, so ok. Why am I so handsome? Er, thanks to Mum and Dad.
