You are overrating your new darling (...based on one goal against porto and a cameo against spain) and underrating Berardi, a player you simply don't like.

He is superior to Pjaca in every aspect of the game, bar dribbling and pace.

But feel free to call me should he ever reach Berardis level.
Dribling, teqnique, physic, pace, first touch.

Maybe even vision.

But otherwise you are right, Berardi is superior to Pjaca in every other aspect of the game.

Whatever Adolph. You've always been deluded which makes your opinion completely invalid.

But at least you agree he's better at passing, shooting and finishing. Too bad non of that is required in a game like football (Pjaca's first touch is piss poor btw.)

You can say whatever you want, but at this point it's not even a competition. Berardi is the superior player, and unlike you i can back it up with more than just gut feeling and personal preference.

Berardi's main strength is his vision, not seen anything to suggest that Pjaca is anywhere close to him in that regard. Physically Pjaca is superior quite clearly. They are both still raw in their own ways, Pjaca more so but both can become absolute top players if they work hard.

Sure thing shedevil. How do you prove he is a better player? By comparing goals scored in Seria A. We could also try comparing number of goals in the CL, Appearences on the national team, how about actually watching them both play and form an opinion of who is the most talented.
Pjaca has good numbers from the Croatian league, were he had his debut when he was 16/17. He has 12 caps for his national team very he had his debut at the age of 18, with arguably a better squad than Italy in attack. He has a lot more natural ability and talent than Berardi.

berardi is one of the best talents italy has seen in the last 10 years. your assumption makes pjaca a messi level talent.

nice job, beppe, for getting the balkan messi for 23m.

:beppe2:
That says a lot more about the Italian talent pool than about Berardi. He is a good talent, who might or might not become a top player, but to make him out to be something speciel on the international scene is just not true.

It's just a silly exaggeration to prove a point. Evaluating talent is non-factual anyways, it's almost entirely based on speculation and personal opinion.

I think you are vastly overrating the importance of fancy dribbeling in football. At moment Berardi has a proven good shot, Pjaca doesn't and that matters way more than ability to turn something inside out
I'm sorry, but absolutely no. This is why looking at stats alone, clouds your judgement.

Berardi, is like plenty of these so called "promising strikers" we saw in Belgium. They are quick and will capitalise of poor defending. Kinda explains why Berardi tends to score in baskets instead of 1/2 / game.

He's fast. Limited technique, passing, vision and dribbeling. Decent shot. Will score goals. Thats Berardi. He's a fine league player for a decent team. Put him against a big defence and he's useless cause he lacks the neccecary ability to unlock defences.

Pjaca. Very fast player with a high workrate and stamina. Technically very good, good close controll, and complete dribbeling player. Current juventus player with the highest chance of winning a 1v1. Just watch it. Pjaca close to, or in, the box with 1 player and a little room and he will get past it. he needs to find his spot and adapt, but the greatness is here.

Pjaca's dribbeling style isnt just fancy the shitfuck. Its very effective. Feits or stepovers and opposite of where defender goes. And he isnt one dimensional, he'll literally make the defender put his foot down and picks the best direction, either outside or cutting inside, doesnt matter. Thats the mark of a great dribbeling player who knows where to go to.

Against spain, he had his natural free role down the wing (but the right one). He was terrorising their entire flank and created all kind of issues. What an amazing performance that was tbh.

Here is the deal. When facing a good team you'll have little chances. or face a game completely locked up. Players with the ability to take out players and dive into the box, are what can unbalance a perfectly positionned defence.

Berardi wouldnt do shit.

He'd be a decent sub. Pjaca is a future star.

Berardi is an established serie a player. But thats immediatly also his platform. He's the classical serie a striker that reached his sealing very early in his career. Good to have, but he wont improve.

Pjaca is superior in everything technical, but not established in serie a. He is more explosive, better top speed and better stamina. Stronger. He has better technique and much better controll. He has amazing dribbeling technique.
He also has shown glimpses of great vision and passing (that khedira send through)

i'm overrating a player, cause he shone against the reigning european champions (spain didnt want to lose the game), and Porto (knockout phase) ?

Here is the deal with Pjaca. Each time he played, he found himself in a handfull of situations where he created danger and beat players 1v1 to get into dangerous positions. Each game.

The issue is, he needs to adapt and grow into our formation and playstyle. Know where to be when, and how to make it happen that he gets in these situations often. If he has the positional movement of Cuadrado, who is very often in such situations, he'll be hailed as the second comming of Garrincha.

Berardi will never shine against spain. Or in the CL. Pjaca allready did without all that experience in a team he's completely not adapted in.

Müller must be completely useless with his mediocre dribbling and pace.

Btw. Do you remember the Giovinco cameo against Chelsea 2008/09 ? New Del Piero right there.

Finally, we found something to completely agree in

NT performance is actually a thing.

Berardi didnt feature for the NT

Pjaca was part of the EU selection, and according to many the best player in the game that send spain to the second place.

Yeah. That's mostly complete bullshit, sorry Zach. Your arguments would be a lot better if you stopped jumping to non-existent scenarios and conclusions.

Passing, vision and technique are the main strengths of Berardi. I really question how much you've really seen him play or at least the level of attention you have paid to him.

What are Pjaca's two biggest games ? At club level, the knockouts vs Porto. At International level, the deciding game against the reigning european champion.

He was MVP of the spain game, and decided the Porto game and should have had an assist.

Spain. His side had Ramos, Alaba, Iniesta and Nolito. He domminated that flank and kept Alaba back most of the time. Aged 21.

You cannot deny that in his two biggest games, he put his best performances.

Thats ridiculous. Berardi's technique is modest at best. Pjaca's close controll and technique is vastly superior. And with vision i'm talking about sending passes through the defence and knowing when to run where.

Sorry but Berardi is a glorified candreva

The point is Berardi didn't hump Juventus' legs when he had the chance to join us, Zach started to dislike him and will now post essay after essay about how much he sucks. Bias at it's best.

conclusion?
Juventus beats celtic
Celtic beats barcelona
Juventus is superior to barcelona

Juventus just wins 2-0 to 10man porto
Manchester city shoots 5 goals past Monaco
Monaco has an amazing goaldifference record
Manchester City will absolutely murder juventus

Thats what you are basically trying to say.

No, actually not.

When Berardi was 18 and upcomming i had high hopes. But he didnt improve in 4 years time and is still mostly scoring penalty's or capitalises on poor defending.

In fact, you can search and see i approved him staying with sassuolo each year to improve and get consistant. He didnt. And he wont get much better then he is now.

Again that bolded part has qualities that Berardi absolutely excels at. His technique is in no way modest either, he has a great first touch and a great sense of where to take it.

I'm not comparing the two players because I think it's pointless. Just pointing out that it's quite clear that you just make shit up regarding Berardi as you type and come up with whatever conclusion fits your agenda.

He knows where to run, and how to capitalise on poor defending. He has a decent shot.

Please name the biggest game in which he played good.

Shitty milan(2) and fiorentina

Pjaca's best games were Porto in CL knockouts and Spain deciding group stage

I know what team i'd rather faced.
