you say a club like juve should have risked the 10 point lead, so that milan will make a counter atack and fuck us in the last minutes??

I should not bother to read your posts and take you seriously after this one :disagree:
true, but mayb with 10 men they were vulnerable, and if we did get a win, then 13 points clear would have been really good, though like u say, mayb it wasnt worth the risk

First I don't understand how some people around here can be satisfied with a draw after having a chance to win the game and probably secure the Scud....and I disagree, Nothing is yet Finish after this draw...We still have tough matches. But we're almost there.

Gennaro got sent off and we had enough time to win the game but we couldn't do it. The good thing is that in second half after Ale replaced Ibra is that we started dominating somehow and attacking more.....Del Piero added alot to the attack.

That said that we did good to shut down the likes of Kaka and Sheva...Seedorf was pretty good in the 2nd half.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Buffon- Did his job, saved a good header by Gennaro in the 2nd half and played good overall. 6.5

Chiellini- Wasn't bad neither that good, but his 2nd half was little bit better than his first. 6

Cannavaro- Always on top like usually. Fabio performed great tonight...Blocking Pippio down and his Co. 7

Thuram- Solid at times and did good marking tonight...He's slow at times but with his head and experience nothing can go wrong. 6

Zebina- Better 2nd half, couple of bad passes but he didn't perform bad neither good, just like Chiell...5.5

Emerson- Il Puma is in perfect form, always performing great, we moved good tonight and we played fast times, thanks to him. 7

Vieira- Surely better than his prev games...Pirlo had difficult time in the 2nd half to create and deliver passes...6

Mutu- I didn't like the way he played tonight. Serg outplayed him tonight and he was selfish in couple of times where he could have gave passes or crosses. Bad passing, bad dribbling...etc.. 4.5

Pavel- Great 2nd half from the Inform Nedved. Though he should have used his legs better at times when shooting. But he was moving fast helping our defenders and the reason Gennaro got sent off. Well done Champ....7

Ibra- Again an Inform player taking 45min of our time for nothing. Not his fault though. I'm yet to see him performing good since some good time. Hope he'll find his way in the upcoming matches. 5

Del Piero- Again, he should have started from the beg....our 2nd half was better when was in. Was slow at times but surely moved good and our team was pushing good with his presence. Though I wanted him to take a Freekick, too bad we didn't had one in the 2nd half. 6

Trezeguet- Bad game for the French player, did Nothing at all....Don't know why Capello didn't put Zalayeta in his place. 4

This is so fucking sweet.
The match was boring, though, but Puma was GOD out there and Cannavaro was fantastic. Nedved was knocked all over the pitch but he kept on fighting, man I LOVE YOU and your shampoo/balsam collection, your hair is so golden and lovely when you run, man, AND THE TRADITION WILL LIVE ON - with Balzaretti. He knows how to balsam properly.

Good job boys, I am serious this is one good job done,

The game started with Juventus trying but not succeding due to tiredness. Their reaction to kill the game and strangle Milan from all necks. What was the outcome of their plan? Success.

Emerson and Vieira did great to isolate Kaka not from getting the ball but even from moving. It was from the 30th minute that Milan were playing without their most dangerous player, Kaka, as Sheva was not that much fit.

Seginho and Stam who were Milan's most active players in the first half were dealt with in a proper way, one by letting Stam, Milan's newest midfielder, fall into an early yello card situation and later by shutting the door on Serginho and making all his moves absolutely useless.

Our forwards were our worst department, where it Trezeguet - Zlatan or Trezeguet - DP. Nothing to be mentioned there.

Our midfield was where we won the game, Emerson and Vieira shut down all solutions for Milan players and did well to frustrate them as much as possible with Mutu and Nedved doing their job in questioning Milan's ability to some surprising attacks.

Back line was just amazing with no mistakes except for some stressful situations for Chiellini and Zebina where Buffon was able to deal with. The central defenders did their job well and closed all the spaces Sheva and Pippo were asking for.

I cannot give any rating as all our player were the same. I would give the whole squad a 6.5 and the forwards a 5.5 each.

Good job, the first time I see Juve applying a work that is supposed to be done.

On a side note, I expected a change after Gattusso was red carded, but since there was no change, I realised that Juve were to continue what they were doing in frustrating Milan. Well done lads.

There is a difference between risking a 10 point lead and actually trying to play football against a side that was reduced to ten men. Milan was already packed in at the end of the match and still had a lot of posession...and with that posession they still mounted a couple attacks. I don't know where your brain is at, however the smart thing for our side to do would be keep the ball and play on the opposition's side of the pitch. I would see why you would not want the team to do anything besides sit back, but I don't like such pussy tactics when we had the chance to beat a ten man Milan. I don't see anything wrong with pressuring Milan and mounting attacks while making sure the center of the pitch was secure.

I have to disagree with you here, there was absolutely no need. Had we attacked it would have been nice, but there was no need. Milan were stil dangerous and they had a couple of attacks (lame ones) but had we pushed for a goal we would have given Kaka and Sheva what they craved for the whole evening, space.

It was boring yes and we could've gotten more out of this match, against 10 men. Though having said that, I have yet to see any team ever take advantage of a numerical advantage on the pitch. If we look positively at this, if we can stop an in-form milan; we can certainly take anyone on. Scudetto is ours, and it certainly offers some prospect for the CL.

Other positives include Buffon, Emerson, Nedved and Chiellini's form and that the defence kept a clean sheet.
Well to be honest, even though it is a boring game, we manage to secure a draw, and there is nothing I can ask for. I don't know why u guys r so demanding in terms of big games like this, 0 - 0 is a good result against Milan, and both teams earned 1 point. The pressure will be on Milan becos Inter is catching up with them. I never expect Gattuso to be sent off, but I thought the performance was ok when we play 11 against 11, especially when both Emerson and Vieira stopped both Kaka and Pirlo. This game can go either way, the game can change drastically when a goal is scored. It was a really ok game I think, with both teams being careful not to be reckless. Capello figured out that Milan will attack frantically with 10 men, so he told our players to play calmly, which accounts for this outcome. But hey, I can't ask for more when we still have our 10-point lead. Now to the scores.

Buffon - Thanks for performing well against big games like this. We can't thank you more. 7

Zebina - Same old Zebina, could have brought in Balzaretti to play. After all the latter needs experience. 5.5

Canna - Solid defender as usual, stopping his Azzurri teammate Pippo and prevent them from scoring. The same goes for Sandro Nesta at the other side 6.5

    Thuram -Ok game 6

Chiellini - Is it because of big games like this that he performed well? I certainly hope that his form continues like this throughout the season. This guy can be hell of a player when on form 6.5

Emerson - Basically did all the important stuff, and even attacked. No wonder both Pirlo and Kaka r invisible 7.5

Vieira - OMG HE IS PERFORMING!!!! Anticipating his future performances like this 7

Mutu - he should still belong to the middle! 5

Zlatan - Is he learning how to use his tricks now? I certainly hope so. Nice backheel. Hope that his season can be revived. 6
    Treze - zzzzz 5.5

DP - Nothing more, nothing less, but should have started 6

Nedved - Was generally ok, but thanks for letting Gattuso to be sent off. 6

Nonetheless, the job is done. Everybody deserves a pat on the back. Every player should take a rest and prepare for the next game.
And if you ask me if Gattuso deserves to be sent off, I would say yes. At least this referee is experienced.

The fact that Milan were still dangerous was because we didn't have enough posession and didn't pressure them hard enough. We wouldn't have given them space because Emerson and Vieira were still holding tight centrally and if Milan doesn't touch the ball they can't hurt us.

Exacely.. We should also remember that our players where tired after the Bremen match.. Imo we can all be happy about the draw.. The way we killed milans game off is a acceptable job done by our players and Capello..

The only frustrating thing tonight was to see Zlatan start insted of Del Piero..

There is a good point here,
number one priority was not to loose the game,
after Gattuso's red card, Milan had no midfield anymore,
but they were still very dangerous in their attack,
we all know how deadly and efficient they can be,
    we did tried some counterattacks
and we normally sould take the total control of the game and ATLEAST not allow Milan to make any organized attacks,
i m not sure if they had the time possesion but there were moments they DID have the upperhand and threatened us, we sould atleast defend right and not let this happen,
maybe, a third man in the attack would be risky,
but pressing them harder in the midfield and keep that extra man in the defence to secure it, if necesary, wasnt...

we just prooved we didnt care to win:smoke:

Again, I'm happy with the draw, but the performance was absolute crap and rather embarrassing.
No man, it wasn't embarassing, Milan got only two shots on target, not that we had more but we didn't want to. It was an effortless draw. Juventus simply refused to let Milan play.
