i think it'll be a hard match, because messina already played good in the previous matches against teams like roma and milan . but ,if we -and we will - play concentrated we should win .

Seems that Ibrahimovic could actually make it whereas even though Del Piero is back to training he wouldn't be fit for the Messina game but could make it against Bayern.


So, here is my preferred first 11 vs. Messina:

Buffon

Zebina - Thuram - Cannavaro - Zambrotta

Camoranesi - Emerson - Appiah - Olivera

Zlatan - Nedved

We will be missing Trezeguet for more than 3 months as he has opted to go ahead with the shoulder surgery. So, I think Capello should consider playing Nedved upfront as a support striker.

As for recalling Sculli from loan, I don't think it makes such a difference as we already have Zalayeta and Kapo.

(Btw, heard that Messina's president is a big fan of Juve !!).

I reckon that at best DP will make the bench. One week isn't enough to get ready for a match following an injury such as his. It'll be interesting to see if Capello keeps faith with Zalayeta or pushes Nedved, Olivera or Kapo into a support striker role.

I don't think we need any new strikers, we already have olivera and kapo who can play in the strikers role now. They can produce better than any newcomer . i think kapo would be the key in period coming as well as olivera.



About the messina match i think that 4-5-1 is the best way to go, camo isnt producing his best game so it should be like that:"

this formation is the most balanced i think, and gives us more attacking as well as defending options. And its somehow similar as the one dpforever put in but more attacking options as neddy and oilvera can attack with emerson supporting, and he wouldn't have to worry about defending.

and on the wings zambro and zebina can attack and blasi and appiah can cover their places, becuz messina have a good counter attack.
