that was one boooring game was it... making Nedved bullet freekick look out of this world...i dont even sure we could score at that point...

lucky i dont stay up to watch it and only pick up the 2nd half replay when i woke up in the morning...

i agree though that Zalayeta was brought in. The game need a change and when we reallly need a goal, i rather trust Zalayeta than Del Piero... Del Piero just plain unreliable...

BOLOGNA CRIES FOUL

Last year the Zambrotta Oscar worthy DIVE and this year this...what a crock of shit. Two take-downs without even so much as a whistle.
A freekick which at its origin was a bad call.

I didn't bag on Juve so far this season because the usual bad calls in their favor had been absent this year..until today. Bologna is right to go apeshit over Pieri's calls. This was the worse officiating of the year by far.
What a shame.

P.S. This shit ain't gonna fly against Milan. Capello better get the team's ACT together (the last matches: Lazio and Bologna were close calls..Santa only comes once ..maybe twice in a year).

Juve Win Marked By Controversy
12/13/2004 12:55:00 AM

The Bianconeri defeated Bologna 1-0 thanks to a goal by Pavel Nedved 3 minutes from the end; however the Rossoblu players protested a lot for the way the goal arrived and for two other incidents which occurred before.
Fabio Capello will be happy to see that Juve found back the determination that his side lacked in the last two encounters as they saw-off the challenge of Mazzone’s relegation-battlers Bologna. The Old Lady’s coach will also be happy to arrive to next Saturday’s clash against Milan with +4 points over the Rossoneri.

In the first half, Bologna had the most chances, in particular with Cipriani and Meghni. However it was the Bianconeri who had the best chances as Nedved hit the post while Zagorakis had to clear on the line a shot by Emerson.

Capello tried to motivate his players during the half time break and the Juve players came out more determined as they controlled the match without however creating many chances. The Bologna fans and players complained mid-way through the second half as in two different occasions, referee Pieri denied the Rossoblu from awarding them the penalty.

The match seemed to be destined to a goalless draw until in the 87th minute Pieri gifted Juventus with a generous free-kick from the edge of the penalty area. From the resulting set-piece, Nedved slotted in perfectly past Pagliuca to give Juventus three precious points in a hotly contested match.

So among all the other fisticuffs out there today (like Cipriani's disguised elbow whack on the back of Zambrotta's head late in the match), does anybody know what the deal was between Mazzone and Zambrotta?

Mazzone cracks me up. Compared to the polish of Capello, he looks like he just got off the fishing troller. But something really had him about to jump out on the pitch and strangle Zambro for some reason.

Liters upon liters of bad blood, or even bile, spilled on the pitch today.

BOLOGNA CRIES FOUL
I clearly have my biases. I don't see how that critical free kick was awarded -- I certainly didn't see the shirt tug. But I'll defend Pieri in this match for otherwise keeping a cool head. There were dives and fouls galore. Bologna was pulling at least as much garbage from what I witnessed. (IMO, the two calls Bologna is complaining about were weak appeals for penalties.) It was so heinous on both sides, I forgot that this was a soccer game during long stretches.

As I could tell 1/3 of the way into the match, this game could come down to a bad referee call ... a call either way. The award of the free kick was a bad call, IMO. But Nedved still needed to convert it -- and we saw nothing in this match that indicated that either team was going to convert anything. That Neddy nailed it was one of the breaks of the sport. This match deserved to be a draw, but it wasn't. That happens.

What a crock of horse shit. The Bologna defender (I think it was Sussi) grabbed Zlatan's jersey, that was clear to see. What else is Pieri going to do? It was a definite FOUL that any other referee would have called. Stop the crying.

And the foul at midfield is trivial; instead of biatching about the call Bologna should have been on their toes. But they weren't, and they paid for it with a silly foul and a 0-1 scoreline.

it seems guys we r suffering ..........

goal from a set peace and against who? bologna........

look how the refere is with us...no booking, no fouls given to bologna....

our attacking solution are very pooooooooooooooooooooooooor .....

just lost croses and i think a play by the same way against big teams means lost......

ok honestly, if we play milan by the same way, we will lose definitly...but guys am expecting definsive play like the one we did with Bayren....just definsive and only depending on one goal to finish the match...i hope

i just have a few points i want to clear , am really pissed off;

1)Do u know why most of u guys are angry and pissed, its only because the team didn't deliver a "super entertaining" performance. SO WHAT ?
we won didnt we? In the Reggina match we put on a great performances but the ref. screwed us and u were still pissed off. So no pleasing with so of the juve fans .
We are not real madrid , we are not a team that shows off and wins, there are gonna be many ugly perfmances but the important thing is that we win in those matches. Ofcourse we will want some good perfomances, but the important thing is the WIN

2)I think many people were angry that we won in that way is that , everyone had high expectations against a tough team like bologna. The thing that everyone has to know is that there isnt any easy matches, THIS IS SERIE A.
And Bologna are never an easy team, they will never be.Also they are a team with their pride at stake as well as Mazzone's , you should know that they wont give an easy game.

3)i heard some people call Alex "unreliable" and "Frustrating" , lay off him , if he is unreliable how did he score against Maccabi ? He saved us from a humilating loss now didnt he ?

you two see a rewind of the incident...

yes, it was one of the most boring matches in serie a so far.. we didn't deserve the three points, so didn't bologna.. we scored.. bologna din't.. we win.. simple...

that other asshole Cipriani, deserve at least two matches ban.. for hitting zambrotta..
he also, deserve an oscar for worst supporting actor...

just saw the highlights, the tosser wacked Zambro behind the head and when he fell, he was the one clutching his face.....

and did u guys see, he pretended to faint. fecking wanker!

not wearing biased glasses, the free-kick was not that controversial. there was a foul on Zlatan, and as Andy pointed, instead of being focused, the Bologna players let the incident get over their heads and let in Nedved's goal THROUGH the wall

bolonga gambled on strategy which failed no need to blame the refree for thier loss ,, many incidents was in favour of them , cipriani desrve 3 bookings for dives only not mentioning elbowing and kicking cannavaro and zambrotta in many ocasions ,, i think the referee's faults is that he didn't show cards for both bolonga and juve players .

the goal was clear foul , protesting againest it doesn't make it bad call ,, zlatan shirt was grabbed ( everybody saw that and it was clear on the replay ) end of the story .

great goal by nedved
