And good thing he is admitting it, because that was the most glaring of all, he was totally playing with his head down and literally walking around in his brief stint with us. Especially that Empoli Coppa italia game, remember, him and Tiago as CMs, Gio and other Empoli players simply ran past him while Almiron was just standing around in central midfield, like a Tiaga/scared bambi.

Definitely think he deserved more than the shot he got. Not just because of these words, but the flashes of brilliance he showed in pre-season last year, following his signing. What's going for him currently, is the change in formation, perhaps better suited to his game. Although, the attitude needs to measure up this time around. And in all honesty if we've wasted so long with Tiago we might as well give someone like Almiron 6 months at Juventus. It's an experiment that will contribute in making more concrete decisions come the next mercato.

That was a show of respect and class, and also implies he still holds something in his heart for Juve. Bearing in mind our devastating lack of ball playing, deep lying midfielders, why not bring him back, when he is in better form than all of our present squad? At least it will make it easier for us to beat bari when we play them next...
