Juve Receive Russian Offer For Almiron
CSKA Moscow have tempted Juventus with an offer for their out of favour Argentinean midfielder Sergio Almiron.
The Bianconeri brass have already ruled out any sales in January but according to the Corriere dello Sport, the offer is good enough to think about reconsidering, in which case Claudio Marchisio would likely be recalled from Empoli to make up the numbers.
Almiron, 27, has been largely a peripheral figure since his €9m move from Empoli in the summer and at the moment is firmly behind Cristiano Zanetti and Antonio Nocerino in the central midfield pecking order.
Should Juve indeed lose faith in their new signing so soon, then CSKA can expect stiff competition for Almiron’s signature as Tottenham, West Ham, Hamburger SV and VfL Wolfsburg are all reported to be interested in his services.
In other Juventus news, the Bianconeri have recently been linked to Partizan Belgrade starlet Stevan Jovetic.
The 6m Euro-rate 18-year-old striker has also caught the eye of Manchester United, Manchester City and Real Madrid, but Juve are believed to have the edge due to their close relations with Partizan at the top level.
