we ain't getting him, especially in january. offensively, things are going good for us. i think that they will be searching for nedved's replacement, and i believe that it will be valeri, a young winger from lanus. and they will be looking for one or two defenders. aguero will be too expensive now, maybe at the end of the season we may be looking to make some star signings, especially after we secure CL qualification.
I agree... I just don't see it right now, forwards are just not a priority right now. Especially since Juventus boasts one of the best strike forces in Italy right now anyway. My response was just a hypothetical if Secco did the improbable and signed him.

Its been said that Juventus will make two signings in January. My bet is on a defender and a midfielder. That could be Valeri in January to eventually replace Nedved, it could be a two-way midfielder. The Nedved replacement may not come till June though.

exactly (although Trez is one as well imo)

But DP is no longer WC imo. Obviously he's still very good and important for our team. And he has his moments of absolute class now and then, but I no longer classify him as WC.

Well, my opinion is that we DO NEED one more world class forward, especially when we get back into Champions League.

My choice would be one of these: Huntelaar, Benzema, Amauri, Drogba, Aguero, G. Rossi.

Aguero, Benzema, Rossi appeal to me the most out of your list.

My first choice would be David Villa though he is just a dream sadly.

Good list. I would add Quagliarella as a possibility as well.

While they would need another forward when they are in CL, they need to make CL first, and a defender and midfielder would go further to achieve that right now.

Quagliarella? :lol2:

He's having a pathetic season. Another overrated player on this forum.
Overrated? No more so than several others that people seem to be hankering for.

He's not having a great season, but its rather premature to write off an obviously talented player who just turned 24.

Its good that Juve didn't launch boatloads of money at him in the offseason, but that doesn't mean he's not destined to be an Azzurri regular and a good target.

All he had was one good season though..so Andy does have a point.
