He knows what it takes to win the CL and is giving his opinion that we are short of a world class MF to win (something a lot of posters here agree with). He is standing up because he cares about winning not because hes a prima who wants a friend here (he doesnt even know SMS)

Is that not why we signed him? To get us over the line and win the CL? I doubt he is marching into the boardroom slamming his fists on the table and 'demanding', he is probably pushing the board in private to sign a MF based on the above reasons.

What kind of idiot would come to a new club and start badmouthing its midfield behind its back to the club's directors? If he didn't think we had the players to win he wouldn't have come in the first place.

I still think it's all BS. Italian media are desperately trying to hype up Inter and Milan's mercato moves after our Ronaldo coup.
