It is discussed of a centrocampista ecuadoreno of 25 years in force to the Red Star: Segundo Castillo. Segundo Alejandro Castillo (born May 15, 1982 in Esmeraldas, Ecuador) is an Ecuadorian footballer who plays as a midfielder for Red Star Belgrade in Serbia.

He has recently broken into the Ecuador national team and has been included in their squad for the 2006 FIFA World Cup due to his remarkable willingness to attack even as a defensive midfielder.

On May 24, 2006 in a friendly game against Colombia, he scored a goal for his country in the second half. They later tied 1-1 in New York.[1] His impressive display against the Colombian team later earned him a starting lineup position for Ecuador in the World Cup, and he remains so today.

On August 31, 2006 he signed a two year deal with Serbian side Red Star Belgrade, former European Cup champions, from El Nacional in Quito. He scored 8 goals during his first season at his new club and has been one of the team's most valuable players.

Just BS, I mean I will buy it when we officially report it but I really don't trust media outside of Italy to give accurate news on Juve . I read in a paper over here a couple of weeks ago we had signed Luca Toni!!!
And even in Italy half of the stories are just trash. No I don't buy this but I would welcome him any day.

I'm tottaly against this transfer because we are already covered at midfield position and I would hate to see Nocerino or Marichiso go...

It's about more than this season though, if there are outstanding young players we need them at Juve!

People said at one point Kaka was unneccessary for Milan 'cos they had Rui Costa, Seedorf, Pirlo etc..

Plus "we have Zanetti" is not an excuse for turning down any talented player IMO..
