It says that we bought Ribas from Juventud and made a partnership deal with the club.

You guys will remember this kid who scored vs our Primavera and won the Viareggio tournament. I think this kid is tall and as a very good header.

has moggi got a house in uruguay or something? Montero, Oliveira, Zalayeta.... Ribas?

I can't judge the lad, but is he better than a Palladino or Volpato? why prefer an Uruguayan to young Italians?

Its not about preference; playing the youth game is all about chance and in Juve's case its the more the merrier. All of them will be given chances to shine, be it in the Primavera or on loan elsewhere. It just boils down to who takes those chances the best.

i dont know what to make of signing young talents anymore. we barely give them a chance to set foot in turin before we send them off to Serie B only to never return.

With Zalayeta most likely leaving this summer, the team definitely needs a replacement. Preferably a tall striker would be good, I just wonder how much faith Moggi and Capello would have in a 17 year old...i doubt they would have much faith at all.

Looking at Maresca and Miccoli, I'd say signing young talents from a Juve point of view is a potentially lucrative business with a moderate chance of actually finding first team material. It wouldn't hurt if we got another couple of players who could be loaned, co-owned and then sold and bringing in some money for Moggi to spend.

Correct me if Im wrong but the article doesnt say that we sign him, it says that we are going to give him a trial in the primavera and then we will decide if we get him...

my point of veiw on that we don't get players back from loan is that simply they r not good enough..
if u look at our forwards for example there is no place for sculli or guzman even palladino and volpato, on the other hand miccoli was good but he wasn't good enough to start.
in my opinion if an onloan forward wanna come back to Juve he should get atleast +12 goals. which they all didn't achieve and they don't seem to.
on this Ribas guy i hope he get plus 12 and come to Juve
