Rumors stated that Sampdoria and Atalanta asked for Giovinco. Juventus replied both of them that he's avaible but Juventus will not help paying his wage. Just to be clear!

Sampdoria have asked Juventus for Giovinco (27) on loan with an option to make the deal permanent. Juve have told Samp that they won't be paying Giovinco's salary. [La Stampa]

I do tend to have a flair for the dramatic. Creative type bitch :p
You have more in common with Giovinco than you actually realize, B.

Both can be annoying, both can be attention whores and both can be incredible wrong more than anyone else in their group.

But we still love both of you, which is why you both are still around. :D

As if Giovinco and De Ceglie are close to being the same class of player?

Get a grip, Pedro. :p

Giovinco, when he wasn't wanted before, left. If it's made known to him that he's not wanted here, he'll be willing to go again. There will be plenty of Italian teams interested if we decide to sell, and we'll certainly be able to get more money for him if he's not on an expiring deal. Very simple, really.
hmm... he barely played for 2 seasons now, rejected Lazio last winter and he's still here. :(

Giovinco is out of contract next summer, so Juve would have to renew his contract to make such a deal possible.

Would Juve want to renew his contract on the off chance that Samp decide to buy him?

I'd say it would have to be an obligation to buy, rather than an option, to make the deal worthwhile.

Not extending him, and letting him walk for nothing would be something like throwing away 10M dollars. The club is not really in a position to be throwing away cash.
