he's only good as a sub so he won't get pushed around so easily. also players might already have yellows and they'll be more careful around him. tonight he was like a ragdoll.

Playing as CF, ha, he needs to leave that to Tevez and drop off or wide.

Still, it annoys me how mongoloid defenders can just run through him, not get any of the ball, and refs let the play go on, just because he is weak. A foul is a foul, be smart. He only wins them when he spins around them.

at the same time, it's not fair to the defenders how easy it is for him to go down. i get why the referee only awards fouls when they're too obvious or malicious.

Of course, but this is where the referees have to earn their money. If they can't see the difference at close range then they are not good enough.

I can see clearly myself when he is just being lightweight or is being fouled, my issue is that the two things appear to be the same for 90% of calls. If you watch he virtually never gets a foul for a physical duel. It's virtually always on leg-to-leg contact.

He was pretty bad, playing him in front of Tevez in the 3-5-2 makes no sense.

He's better off the bench.
Yeah, but playing him with Tevez was understandable on this occasion.

With Vucinic out and Quagliarella not fit, Giovinco was the only option if Llorente needed a rest before Real Madrid.
