If he cannot be utilized optimally here then why keep him?

That's my billion dollar question
We need a # of homegrown players for CL registration every year no? added motivation to keep him and DC around as our squad players instead of having to squeeze in four primavera kids.

He did well running it up into our attacking third but you know when he gets his opportunity to impact the game in front of goal he will most probably screw it up as he did tonight.

Is so much better at going at the defense instead of playing with his back to goal. A change to 4-3-3 could give is some good displays.

When he does the hard work and gets into these areas he needs to do more with the ball. If he is surrounded then try to win a corner, a penalty, anything that contributes. A few times again he ended up stood 1v1 or 1v2 against defenders and tried to dribble through but with no effect. Be smarter and take the pressure off the team, his acceleration and cross are both very good so he just needs to make better decisions.

when he managed to counter in the box vs 2-3 real players, he took like 2 or 3 extra touches and ended up losing it when for a split second it looked like he had a clear shot into the bottom right

Thought he gave us some impetus when he came on. He was running directly at them and linking up with tevez. They simply couldn't handle the atomic ant, sadly he can't handle himself either. So sad that he falls apart at the key moment of a move. But IMO it showed what a quick, direct, dribbler could add to our team upfront.
