He was atrocious today, how many times did he pass the ball directly to a samp player? he has done that in countless games this season, he hasn't been anywhere close to being a success for us this season, and he gets more playing time than any of our other forwards.

And his penalty shouts were fucking laughable.

He was also unlucky today. I think it was on Minute 11 of the first half, he turned well and shot but the goalie had some good refelxes. But there needs to come more from him I agree in that point.

luck is a bad excuse for lack of quality. theres a clear pattern when it comes to giovinco and thats a obvious lack of end product.

hes not terrible. but hes nothing more than a useful squad player.

LOL the tchoo choo train of fail reached this thread too. I mean, far far from good (though would say Marchisio him and Barzagli "least" bad), but did my eyes deceive me or he wasnt the one missing clear chances in 2nd half like this thread is describing? But Vuci bottling them? lol.

Um, I saw the first half, and was checking the thread, how where those misses big or clear wasteful ones? One he turned and shot quickly inside the box and forced Romero to do one hand save, one Padoin passed centrallly to him just infront of the and he shot over, was hardly easy or "clear" fyi, and...what was the others? Nothing else basically, of note or that clear, just routine stuff. We barely created shit. Main annoying misses this game was clearly the two big chances Vuci had when he came on (the first in particular, 2nd wasnt wasnt too easy to reach, though wish he jammed it in).

Seriously biased mofos, I can only laugh reading Nzorics posts in Vuci thread then coming in and reading his here

It's silly to blame our impotence in attack on Giovinco where we were not even creating anything but relying on crosses that reach Palombo. It's also silly to blame the defeat on Peluso when he was left exposed repeatedly and he has been with the team for 5 days only.

Lol you reminded me of Palombo, he was so shaky, its laughable we couldnt do shit against a clown like that who hadnt played games regurarly for like 10 months.

indeed. he needs to be evaluated on a fair basis. thats him being a squad player being 'forced' to deliver like a first team player for the best team in italy due to lack of quality upfront. sadly thats the current situation with all of our forwards.

We have 0 good forwards. We have like 4 forwards that may or may not play good, depending on shitloads of conditions, but we have noone who is a sure thing. Giovinco is no better than Quag, Matri or Vucinic.

Hopefuly Llorente will change this.

His worst crime in this game was his final ball in and around the Sampdoria area. He had about 7-8 good chances (some created by himself) to get the ball across from the byline or edge of the area, and I think only one reached our player.

Yep, agreed, as I said we created fuck all most of the game, his efforts weak in that like most(except when he cheasted to Matri who should gotten a pk).

These tards can't even notice what you mentioned though, instead they invent "big" misses he never even have.

I can't even recall many big misses. Vucinic had his volley, which is a bit unlucky and a bit poor to not get it on target (= a goal), and that sliding chance that was barely a half chance.

Just shows how poor we were around the area, at 0-0 and 1-0 we were complacenent, then at 1-1 and 1-2 we were incompetent in breaking down a determind defence.

Both of his chances in the 1st half should have been goals. You must be blind to deny that he screwed up twice there. The 2nd chance was saved by the keeper (still weak shot) but the first was a terrible shot from an easy position 9m from the goal directly in front of it. No forward should screw up twice like this. Unfortunetly all of our forwards do.

Yep pretty much Jay, we created fuck all, but also showed we oh so badly need a jammy mofo up top that scores out of nowhere and in only half chance he has, ala Le Roi (who used to score on that barely nothing chance that was Vucis 2nd miss, on sheer instinct).

Instead only real opportunity goes to someone like Vuci who needs weeks to adjust his scoring boots, let alone put to bed a SHITTY game like today's.

If those should have been so obvious/clear cut goals, then games would finish in double figures weekly.

But reality is those kinda attempts would barely make into highlight reel of your typical game, mainly one he shot over, random attempts like that happens routinely in games, one goalie saved was pretty much just best he attempted ge could do I need that situation, goalie was alert and made a decent one handed save.
