First well played game he had in our shirt. Did tons of stuff right. Slightly cheap circumstances since Pescara were as awefull as they were - but nonetheless. Bravo Gio.

Is that another height joke?

Like others, I'm waiting for him to do something clutch in a big game. It's always nice to have players who can beat the rest up, however.

The fact is that most juventini have barely given this player time to settle, or rather, re-settle, at the club. We're only 11 games in, a few more if you count Europe, but he hasn't even featured in all of them. He has been frustrating in several matches, I'll admit to that, but overall I think he's done fairly well. He's still not there yet, though, but I think he's getting there. 5 goals and 3 assists in 14 appearances isn't optimal, but it's not bad either. Especially when you consider that Vucinic, last season, only had 3 goals to his name until the very end of the season, when he started banging in a few more.

He had a good first half, an assist to open the game up and a well taken goal. He did not have a great second half and could have at least added one more goal to his tally.

The one thing that annoys me about Giovinco, despite his poor finishing at times, is his expression of frustration. He gets upset if he doesn't get a pass, etc etc. You don't have to be Amauri and clap everywhere, but it would be nice to see more of a team player when it comes to that aspect instead of bringing the morale down.
