Lively start, but gave the ball away far too often again today, really killed a lot of our possessions. Too anxious on the ball. Needs to vary his speed when attacking better, and make more simple plays.

Good to see everybody responding in such a measured way, though. A lot of well thought out posts in all of the player threads right now.

I'm sure all of this great support will get help our boys get themselves back on track in no time.

There are multiple factors coming into play when judging a player on his best performances. vucinic scored inhuman goals last year and saved us at crucial times. i watched him for roma when he scored against RM and almost all of romas games in 2010/11. But yes. apart from that i doubt either of us has followed mirko for his entire career. what i do know is that the past season he won the title with a winning team everyone tried to beat. playing for Roma is different like it or not!!!!!!
I've followed Vucinic since the Lecce days and I can tell you that Vucinic didn't have his best season last year. You need to go back to the Spaletti period of Roma to find that. In regards to your hope for Giovinco. YES WE CAN!

The sad part is that we all here are discussing 2 players that in the end are shyte right now in comparison with the top guns.

IMO they can go both out by the end of teh season if that means getting a cavani, a falcao or something.

If they continue like this......No regrets

Oh and you say Roma is different... Have anything to say about Parma then?

This saddens me a bit, you say you watched so much football and we have this end result. Only one conclusion that comes to my mind...

I dont even know where you find this stupid crap.. im off this forum now so i dont read a long reply if you intend to discuss. ill leave you with this; playing for a small team like lecce is completely different from playing for a team everyone wants to beat and feature with 110% motivation EVERY single time. if you disagree then please explain how giovinco scored 15 goals with 11 assists for parma and cant seem to find the net more then 4 times so far with a whole different level of players to help him out. one should expect tons of goals as soon as you play with pirlo according to your idea of football in that case! laterz
