Yes his stats at Parma are relevant but so are his stats for Juventus. Of course the forum would be fapping like crazy for a new signing with Gio's stats coz the new signing did not flop at juve, did not bitch about juve.
Bah, our coaches were crap, he was played out of position and sporadicly. Parma gave him continuity and boom!! results right there.

People tend to blame all on him for those bad games w ehad in those seasons, but most of our top players also failed to save the sinking ship that was our team that season, yet no one gets the short stick in the way he get it in here
He indeed bitched, so what? he already explained why. PAst chapter.
Give him time to perform and then judge. If he flops, we sell.

As simple as that. There is too much drama going on around him in this forum,

Lets leave the bitching argument aside, it has nothing to do with him as a player. It doesn't make him better or worse on the pitch.

Aah, but what you're not taking into account is his position within the team and on the pitch, his improvement in skill and talent from the last time he played for us, and also how he'll be utilized this season. 2 very different scenarios, not a proper comparison IMO.

Have you seen this forum? Everyone gloats, whenever a player has a bad spell and gets shit for it, his fans will return and gloat when he scores a goal. "FUCK THE HATERS!!!!!!!", we've all seen it before.

Then nothing is sure about how well he will do, how he will be used nor how he will be off the pitch. He had an average time at Juventus, good at Parma, he's just like any other player that Juventus buys, bound to do well or to fail or to be douches that need to be shipped off. Nothing is certain yet you (Giovinco lovers) insist that he is a great asset, his statistics at Parma are second to none, he's a prodigy and deserves the no. 10 jersey (not that I care about a number but others do).

I've been on this forum long before you popped up here and I have been treating gloating the same way long before you even knew this forum existed, you were probably not a Juve fan by then. So yes, I know this forum and it has always been like that.

Yes, we're not sure how well he'll do. So it's best to reserve judgment until he actually plays a good number of games this season instead of either glorifying OR condemning him. While the loverboys might have a point in bringing up 15G11A cos that's his most latest stat from a full season, citing his comments about Juve, Del Piero or pics of Milan from months, if not years ago is quite silly.

Miles better skilled :agree:
I don't think so. Ale is the smarter and mature, and certainly more classier player of the two. But when it comes to skill, Messi is better. I'm not saying the difference is huge, but Messi is surely more skillful.

I do beliave he will fit in perfectly this season and do better than both Quag and Matri if they stay. The sistem we play finally suits him and that is why Conte wanted him.

Also I'm looking forward to his free kicks. It's alwys good to have two excelent free-kick takers on the pitch (just remember Lazio game last season and the confusion Ale and Pirlo made).

I can't wait to see how he's doing.. Really hopes the best for him. He's one season away from being considered a top class player - if he scores 10 goals for us I believe he's achieved it and we won't sign Jovetic next year

The fans use this argument to prove that he will do great and want to shut the others who have doubts about his success. It's simply irrelevant.

When he comments on Milan, posts pics of their ultras and the likes, it is actual douchebagery from his side.

Why? The 15g11g in facts says a lot more about him than a pacman milan picture. At least on relevant matters, which is, the playing field.
Maybe peeps get mad about it because there is just NO counter argument to facts?. The only response left is to make fun of it to have an argument. Its kinda pathetic, but what can we do?. That tuz for you.

Only delusional fanboys will compare him to DP (which in fact anyone compared to DP would be exposed to bashing because del Piero on his prime was almost as good as Baggio), and everyone knows he has a lot to prove... but unlike some panic buys and random buys from Marotta, this little midget has the numbers and the skills recorded on camera to back him up.

Crucifying a bianconero like him woithout giving him a proper season or two is just plain dumb...specially after all the problems he had previously here.

If instead of ranieri or Delblacks we hired Conte(as inexperienced as he could have been )in that time , or a prick like Zeman who likes to use younger peeps.... im pretty sure another fat girl would have been singing right now and he would have been an stablished serie A player.

Blame it on the incompetence of our rpevious board and Coaches, and dont blame it all on him. Look it at the big picture.
