I remembered how Lanzafame scored twice against us last year... Why we brought him back I have no clue... Its better for Gio to ply his trade elsewhere, at least he'll get some playing time... I was more sad when we didn't sign Candreva, the guy played consistently well for us... Don't know how he's playing right now but he was good for us... But with the CMs we have right now, I think we made the better choice...
Same here, I see him as a better player, not on the same technical level of Gio, but he is top when it comes to tactics, and effectiveness

Krasic did a fantastic job tracking back against Giovinco today.

If you think tracking back is a big deal, then why haven't I seen you complain about Krasic today previously?
Krasic being more effective going forward, you tend let it go, because the guy is lethal when he has the ball, something that Gio isn't. Gio doesn't come close to what Krasic is capable of on the attack. So, I tend to move aside such things, when a players is exceptional at something else. I did mention that krasic doesn't cover as good behind him, but the way he terrorize other team's LB makes it hard for other teams to build attack on his side, since Krasic usually forces other coaches to keep their LBs in check.

do you think marking Gio is the same as Krasic. LBs facing us would be more worried and proberly told not to go up and overlap as much more than the RB facing us if Gio starting. krasic would make any coach to think a 100 times before unleashing his LB on us. They are so smart to do this, because Krasic would tare them apart on the break. He is way faster than Gio, and could skin defenders with much easy than Gio.

P.S I have nothing about Gio coming back, but he is definitely not worthy starter yet, same goes To Martinez and the rest of the average Joes we have around.

But that's like Krasic and Giovinco going out to the bar together before a training session, getting wasted and showing up late, yet you as the manager fine Seba and let Milos off scott free because he's the better player. Those are double standards. The same applies in this case because you allow players to work less for the team than others.

Giovinco can't come close to producing as much offensively as Krasic, so what is he saving his energy for?

But the bottom line is that both players aren't going to be reliable in defense so you can't play them both at the same time. And you're not going to bench Krasic, so Giovinco has little use.

I won't give it up. Gio isn't as effective as Milos, so Milos has earned it. :p

P.S Anyway, I am off to bed. Long day at university tomorrow. Good night

Edit: Saving his energy to be invisible most of the times. This requires plenty of energy

At this point of time we can't afford to keep both our flanks open... Especially our left side... I'm not saying I wouldn't want Giovinco instead of Pepe on our team, but I wouldn't necessarily play him. With the amount of goals we are leaking, playing Giovinco would just make the hole bigger...

Its not comparing. You can't have both in the team at the moment with the fullbacks we have. So when you have to pick one, you'd definitely pick Krasic.

Oh come on, is this written in law somewhere? Lets say I follow your outlook of the game and cower in fear over having two attacking wingers on the flanks. But surely, in a scenario like we have now, using a 4-3-3 with Krasic and Seba on the sides of a lone striker wouldn't be too bad. So yes, we can have them in the same team.

But that's not what Del Neri is playing, is he? For the tactical set up the coach uses, Seba isn't useful. And no it isn't set in stone, but that's the way I feel secure... You feel otherwise, its your choice... But I'd rather have to only worry about getting raped on one flank than both... And I do prefer a more defensive approach to games than an offensive one, hence our difference in opinion...
