ok i have time!! clearly, even Diego doesn't give me this magic..
Thanks man. That was nice. It baffles me how this guy is on the bench.

The funniest thing is that if Giovinco decides to play for Parma he'll be replacing our own Lanzafame(talk about an upgrade for Parma!), the same player Marotta and Del Neri prefer instead of Giovinco.

I think it's not Marotta, it is Del Neri alone. He is the one to decicide whether to keep the player or not.

Forza Gio...the guy that was never given a chance, and when he was and did well was still called inconsistent...the guy that people love to argue about who he can and can't replace. Hopefully he finds a team that will take advantage of his talent.

4mil is a ridiculous for a player of his age and talent. He is worthy at least as much as bonucci, after all he is young and Italian!
I hope we wont lose him for nothing only because some agents+managers have a special influence upon us. How many more years is he tied by our contract?

Giovinco against Chelsea...my God, if he can produce 30% of that week in, week out for us, he's worthy of a first team place. But I honestly think this little fella doesn't have what it takes to make it in this physical world of football. That is the problem.

If you ask him to play left mid yeah.. because he is not strong enough to win the ball off other players when he tracks back. But if you leave him to roam without the ball and pick it up in space he can be a top player. No coach has shown him that kind of trust where he would be uninhibited and his team would cover the defensive duties. It would keep him fresh in attack and let him do what he does best.

If some coach gave him that role working with a strong but mobile forward and wingers who track back and defend but also give him options out wide. Thats why it owuld be intresting to see him at Bari where the coach already said he will let him pull the strings of the team in attack. If I was Giovinco I would ask to go there on loan so he can show that a team CAN be built around him.

Any game Giovinco plays in he will create chances and draw fouls so if used properly there is no doubt he will become an important player

His had enough loans as it is, its now or never really. Id love to have him in our plans, but I doubt he will be so its only right he moves for the sake of himself. I couldnt care less of what figure we sold him for, we dont value him anyway. If we did sell him then, it would be funny come a few years on we being linked in buying him back.

So when will we move this thread to the History section?
Hopefully never.

Marotta: “Giovinco never had the time to show his worth. We believe that a season with a full chance will demonstrate everything”

I guess that means that he will join another club on loan.

Bari should take him on loan since they will die if they pass on him. They said they will build the team around him if joined. That’s good.

But please, no option to buy nor co-ownership deals.

Currently, we have 3 wingers and we seek the fourth. So, it’s impossible he’s in their plans. Only chance he will stay is that he impresses Del Neri more than Lanzafame, and Lanzafame is the one who will be shipped.

I prefer a season on loan to see what he’s capable of. If he stays he won’t get much time, as previous seasons.
