Word hype is new to you,or one season wonder etc?He was just overhyped so we can have our own prodigy player in that year when Balloteli and Pato started shining for the Milan sides.
What ?!! That Balloteli fucker was not even around when Giovinco was playing for the U-21 and empoli at the time and showing his class with these teams!!

If there is anyone that is truly overhyped then its definitely Balloteli.

Balotelli is 19. Giovinco is 23. And Balotelli couldn't play for the under-21s until he got his passport when he turned 18.
The guy was saying that Giovinco was overhyped by Juve fans because at the time both Pato and Balotelli were grabbing the headlines so we had to hype him which is a complete BS. Gio shined before that little fucker (balotelli).

Giovinco heading for Bari

Sebastian Giovinco’s time at Juventus seems to be over and the unsettled youngster is increasingly close to joining Bari.

Many saw the 'Atomic Ant’ as the shining light of Juve’s future, but he has barely featured in the last two seasons.

Giovinco did not hide his anger at this snub and has demanded a move so that he can get some playing time under his belt.

The Under-21 international was wanted by Udinese and Parma, but the latest reports suggest Bari are in pole position.

It would be a good fit for both parties, as Bari finished mid-table with some very attacking play this season.

The Galletti are also said to be interested in Siena’s Algerian hitman Abdel Ghezzal, who played in the first round of the World Cup.

He would arrive in exchange for €1.5m cash plus midfielder Filippo Carobbio, who spent the last six months at Grosseto, and winger Pedro Kamatà.

Thats terrible he deserves better imo. He will go there, prove himself and be bought buy a big club and by that stage he will be about 26. He is ready for the big stage now, what a waste

If you shine at a small club that doesn't have to mean you're proven.

Au contraire, while being at a top club here, he did not prove himself.
I meant that he will prove that he is ready for a big club. He never had a fair chance here so i dont think its easy to say whether he did or didnt prove himself. He proved himself in the games he played imo he just musn't of done it during training or whatever but who knows....

We all bash the club and coaches but they all did ignore him.

It's funny when someone says "ah we should have played 4-3-3 and not 4-4-2" Then you get a quote after 2 minutes saying "ah god damnit, our coaches know more than you do".

But when it comes to Giovinco every fan knows more than a coach and nobody uses that argument.
