This fucking thing is making me crazy and I think about this too much. The problem is that I've been talking about Giovinco to my friends for years now and Ciro is starting to make me look bad.

So, I think we should digg even deeper into the mystery of why Giovinco isn't playing. Are the coaches blind and they can't see his obvious talent? Are we overrating him?(HELL NO!!) Is he too loyal? Is he a troublemaker? Does Ciro have problems with him? Does he have problems with Ciro? Is Ciro afraid of playing Gio instead of one of our older stars? Do they realize that Diego would also benefit from having Giovinco next to him? Are they waiting for anything? If yes, what are they waiting for? Are they stubborn? Do they really think that having a third defensive midfielder is better then having Giovinco on? Do they know that he's turning 23 in a few months and he's not 18 anymore? Do they know that many teams would love to have him in their team? Are they trying to make him realize for himself that he should leave so they won't get crap from the fans? Do they really believe that he's worth sitting on the bench? Do they think his height is a deal breaker? Are they aware of the fact that they are ruining a huge talent, a fan favorite and a future bandiera? Do they know he was second overall in assists last season in just about 1000 minutes total? How much more does he have to show? Maybe he needs to score 10 goals in a game so they could give him a chance? And finally, do they know this is beyond unfair?

So many questions.. Weird, this is by far the strangest thing in the team right now.

He's too short

They are waiting for him to grow a few inches.

On a serious not tough.

It has nothing to do with Giovinco himself. I think he is just in a bad period in the club in terms of coaching staff.
Ranieri wasnt going to play him cause Ranieri sucks, thats about it, Ciro on the other hand is a new, inexperienced coached, in over his head, not exactly the coach thats going to bet on Gio, (dont get me wrong, I do blame him for that).

On any other team, that is stable, with a veteran coach with confidence he would play reguraly. You think he wouldnt play if he was in Barca or Arsenal right now? He would, and he would shine.

Edit:
Ciro is inexperienced would be my answer
I see you've beaten me to it.

Where exactly would he play, just for the sake of argument, on Barcelona?

If you wanted an argument you should've picked another team, Thats easy:

On the left of the 4-3-3,

Henry going to play in the MLS nexy year.
But anyway, what if he was a Barca youth product ?
That clown, Bojan played there , You thing Gio wouldnt? he his twice the player.

Look, YOU'RE the one that said Barcelona in the beginning, not me.

What if,what if, what if.

Everybody keeps speaking in hypothetical situations here, when the reality of it is the young man is not getting the opportunities to play.

Why he is not getting the opportunity is the question that we are all trying to answer here.

Some say its because of the coaches. Well, we are no on 2 different coaches during Seba's stay here and nothing has changed.

Either Seba isn't as good as everyone is hoping, or the two coaches that we have had here the past two seasons are just imbeciles.

And if you are of the opinion of the latter, then most of you are extremely hypocritical, considering that the overwhelming majority, myself NOT included, thought that Ferrara was teh right man for the job

As I said Renieri was a douch, never liked him, There was no reason for him not to play Gio, On the other hand , with Ciro I can see the logic behind it but it dosnt mean I'm not disappointed.

It has nothing to do with being hypocritical, You can still be disappointed with someone you had high hopes for.

I'ts just piss poor luck for Gio to have this two coaches one after another.
Each one with their reasons and faults.

Isn;t that written in my post?
Yes it is, but are you forgetting that he was instrumental in bring Lampard, Gallas, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson on board to Chelsea, all of whom were young players when he purchased them, as well as helping John Terry develop into the player that he has become?

People say that he is incompetent as a manger, and I'm not disputing that, but he does, or at least did, have an eye for young talent and bringing out the best in them.
