I for once Im tired of finding excuses for Giovinco, I expect him to deliver, he has played several times this season and still faill to impress me, I love the kid, but he has to forget that "I dont play often becouse Im Italian" crap and start using the chances that Ciro gives him

DP has been injured all season up to now as well and Gio hasn't gotten much of a chance yet. What makes you think he will now?

Well it's time for some changes. Iaquinta, Amauri and Trez don't know how to work without a creative striker (Del Piero/Giovinco) next to them.

And so it was written that on the third day of recovery brave king alex, master of the realm of Juve, he would be struck down with an ailment so severe that it would be up to his ward, brave prince Sebastian to take on his mantle, ride into battle on a steed of Black and White, and Vaquish the evil Palermanians,

This is his tale.

Maybe it's possible to play
Diego
Giovinco - Trez, Iaquinta or mr. 0 goals in 6 months ?!

I think it's must work.....
I think Gio and Trez can combine very well. As long as Trez stays upfornt keeping the defence on its toes, Gio will have alot of space to work with and to combine with Diego.

Lets hope he start, cus both Amauri and IQ need to seat on a bench for a game.

i saw the Second half of our match with Bologna again and i would say that Giovinco's problem isn't his quality at all and even not his physics. it's the confidence he just needs a push.

Anyone think that maybe Gio started resting on his laurels at the beginning of the season?

We all knew Ciro was going to give him his chance to shine as there was a lot of praise coming for Ciro and the fact the squad would need constant rotation if we were to compete for everything.

Unlike last season where he worked his ass off to prove to Ranieri that he was 1st XI material.

As I remember it Gio had a good 1st game of the season, said that italian line and his form slipped.

When you're fighting for a spot in a team like Juventus, you don't just slow down. I doubt it Gio is so naive to just think a first team spot will just come to him out of nowhere.

He has tough competition and the position we've been playing him at, Diego's role, might have the toughest competition of them all and isn't even the right position for him.

I'd really like to see him next to, or infront of, Diego and just playing 1 striker, like some have already suggested. That could work for him, he'd really take DP's role. It might be a good idea to have a more creative player next to a proper finisher like Trez instead of 2 strikers who see nothing but the goal.
