If you're going to play a 4-2-3-1, with the players at our disposal:

----momo - melo-----
camo - diego - gio
--------amauri--------

Why not stick Camo on that right side?

The problem with this formation is the whole 'we'll have 3 really good strikers on the bench'-thing.
The formation with rossi is one for the future where Camo or DP is not in the plans

TBH am one of the few people here who thinks that Giovinco will do great this year and get his chance... idk but i have this feelin' Ciro is the man and he looks like he depends on Diego and Giovinco as our main players..

Had some really nice touches out there and was behind the goal and created some good chances. Can't wait to see him and Diego out there together.

Yes he helped the team, and it seems he will have to perform again in the CL.

Lets hope he will be ready for the task because we need thos points! and now that Diego is out...Gio really needs to step in and show what he has got.

Giovinco did well when he came on against Lazio. Had a lot of good touches, and his ability to control and turn on the ball is second to none. My favourite moment was when he owned Kolarov (?) on the right-side touchline by putting the ball past him and beating him to the ball. Would've been awesome if it led to a goal.

He is so good at turning and receiving its disgusting. The kid is incredible, and is turning into an Iaquinta type player. Rarely starts, but when he is given a fraction of time to play he makes the most of it.

I think that from the last 1o times he has been called (most of them in emergency situations). he has failed to deliver like once.... or two at most.
I dont remember.

but that proves he is very very consistent.

Wel, it was the obvious (kinda) change.
Ciro seems to have faith in him, and in this moments of urgency (diego´s injury) is the perfect moment for gio to show his worth!!!!.

lets hope he rip apart bordox
