Giovinco MUST and BETTER be a starter from now often.

BRAVISSIMO SEBA. Keep it going brother, well played.

I would die to see:

----------Amauri

Nedved ------- Giovinco --- Sissoko (here)

Sissoko (or here)
De Ceglie

And for the argument about him, I stand for what I said precisely. And thanx Ranieri for not using him as a winger. Giovinco needs space, he is the master of one-twos, passing etc.. He only tried once doing what winger does, which is to run on forwards from the sides dribble from there and make cross, but he was down! while when he played as a free role, he was taking the passes and passing the to the best available areas. and he did the assist that way, he was up front at the left side, received the ball and gave that beautiful assist.

He did fine as a floating winger, Snoop.

well first time i see that giovinco guy play a full game,, and my first time seeing him play also.

Definitely promising. Nedved is my hero but what a guy said is true...hehas done in one game more than what neddy has in like 3 or 4. Nothing to be ashamed of neddy, the guy got skills.

It has been a long time since a so called promising youngster stand up to the task and delivers inthe first team. U were not wrong, this guy is special.. the kind of player a teamlike juve needed desperately.

Its just one game tho, but he showed what we all were waiting; vision, passing, dribbling and was not selfish like some suggested he was. Played with intelligence today, and even fought for some balls, even when he REALLY is a midget.

Totally pleased with his performance and ill be looking for more from this guy. If juve manages to raise him well, soon he will turn in our own c ronaldo or messi!.

I so want to see Gio play tonight!!! As much as i am ashamed to admit it i must say that i have never watched Gio play!!!
I have seen it and i believe it!!! Gio is the future of Juve!!! It has been a long time since we had a player like him who can take matters into his own hands!! So far we have been relying on team work (excetp the occasional magic from DP) but now we have a player who can win a game by him self!!! Juventus management will be the biggest idiots if they sell him!!! I am impresed by this kid!! This was the first time i have seen him play and.........WOW!!!

The crowd was singing throughout the match "Giovinco uno di noi" (Giovinco, one of us). Seba appreciated that and the camera caught him twice while he was pointing his hand towards the crowd, "telling" them that he really is one of us. :)

lets hope he will finally be the chosen one we have been waiting for all this years, and im not talking about being the next dp orthe next nedved, but being that special players who simbolizes our club and who fight for our club. Not to mention that skill we needed so much.

Giovinco gonna play most likely as a winger. Even if he didn't perform as expected it won't be a disastor. And i really think he wouldn't fail in that position. I've watched almost all of empoli's games last season (except 2-3 games) and i really believe that he's bitter than the majority of our current players!! All what he need is a chance to play, thats it....
I've wrote this 5 hours before the game tonight

we all kinda knew that mate
Some didn't, and they've argued that nedved is bitter and should start ahead of him. I remember watching Gio last year and thinking what a big different that guy would've made if he started with us specially when we struggled to create chances infront of the goal......Anyways forzaa sebba...

He PLAYED as he played in Empoli, and how Nedved and Camo plays for us, free froaming winger. Ranieri USED him as a winger in a 4-4-2, Gio didnt start out from the center, or didnt play forward, but a winger who has the freedom to drift in (like many left sided AMs). I dont know what your definition of winger is, but he played in a wing position.

Almost every chance we created was sparked by him.
What a talent !

I was looking at the first pages of this topic. Back from our serie B days.
I'm really proud we were right since the very beginning. I certainly ain't, and i know Dom and Andy also aren't guys who jump to hype up every young player, but this time we all felt that this one is special.
We also did it with Hamsik when no-one knew him and i still stand behind what i said about Jovetic about a year ago that he'll make it.

The three of us should work as scouts :D

Here you can see more of Giovinco. 8 minute video of Juventus-Pescara primavera match.
Just watch how good he is in the final 1/3 of the field and how amazing his passes r.
He is playing against other juniors but even a blind man can see he has it all after watching this youtube video.
The kid makes some pretty slick through balls, that's for sure. Through the entire clip he didn't miss one pass and his goals were very well taken, although I didn't really see him take on any defenders one-v-one. Giovinco also looks to be pretty quick on his feet, something we haven't had in a forward for quite a while. Hopefully he won't end up as another wasted talent in the Juventus system. Thanks for the video.
This guy is really really good. Every once in a while a talent emerges that is head and shoulders above the rest, Giovinco is one of these. Those other youth players look like amateurs compared to Giovinco. He has it all, dribbling, passing, brains, playmaking, pace, he even looks to be quite two-footed. This guy is going to make it, we should start giving him space starting now. If i'm correct the primavera season just finished, so they won't need him anymore anyway.
I'm not someone who wants us to keep the youngsters by any cost. I was satisfied how Juve was doing in the past and i never complained against our youngsters disapearing in Arezzo, Livorno or Siena.
I won't complain if we lose Paolucci or Volpato , even Marchisio.

But this Giovinco kid is special. He has what not more than 0.1 percents of players have. Yes i didn't watch him for more than 23 minutes. All i've seen from him are the 15 minuts against Bologna and 8 minuts against Pescara on the video i posted earlier. But even 23 minutes are enough to see that Giovinco has unbelievable vision. He knows in every single moment where his players are on the field. Its something that is very rare even in NBA where the playing court is much smaller than a football field. If he was in NBA he would have definitely been Jason Kid or Stive Nash.
And not only he knows where players from his team are but he needs less than a second to realize what would be the best thing to do and where to pass the ball. And whats even more important, his through balls and his passes are always spot on, he never misses a pass.
He has a football brain, that is a rare thing nowdays. Only a retard could let him go.
Totally agree(though I know shit about the NBA :D), Giovinco is something special.

So is Gio going to replace Neddy or DP next year? The reason I am asking is because he did excellent in Neddys place today with DP on the field as well, but the board/Secco is interested in finding a player to replace Neddy next summer...so what will that make Gio? A new DP?...I am confused because he can play both areas. And w/ the rumors of Schweiny maybe coming for free next year so I take it he would be a starter for Neddy so that would make Gio either backup for Schweiny or a striker? Are we still going for the Hunter too? Can anyone shed some light on how the board is going to use him? I think if he keeps putting up these kinds of performances they wont have to look for a replacement for Neddy
