Giovinco to stay at Juve

Juventus fantasista Sebastian Giovinco will remain with the Bianconeri next season, according to his agent.

The 21-year-old, who spent the year on loan at Empoli, has been one of this season’s revelations and is in demand.

“Giovinco has a fan in my son,” Claudio Pasqualin explained to Teleradiostereo. “So, I would not mess him about by telling him lies.

“He will be at Juve next season. The Bianconeri want him to stay.”

Giovinco could not save Empoli, who were relegated from Serie A, despite scoring six goals in 35 appearances for the club.

“Moving back to Juventus would be an important opportunity for Sebastian to develop his career,” added the representative. “I don’t expect him to be sold.”

The tiny talent was wanted by Palermo as part of a deal brokered with Juventus for Brazilian striker Amauri – who should finally sign a five-year contract on Friday.

The Bianconeri, however, were quick to extract the youngster, known as the 'Atomic Ant’, from any negotiations.

Italy really impressed in Toulon as I watched every match. The ones that impressed me most were Abate (would be a great back-up for our right wing), De Silvestri (already better then Gygera or Molinaro, on par with Zebina(when fit)) we should buy him in two years,Motta was much better than I rememberd and ofcourse Gio the MVP. Allaround good tounament from our youth. Can't wait for olympics where we'll see De Ceglie and Criscito too

1 0 for italy.
Osvaldo scored, and gio played good the field was all rainy so both teams couldnt really perform well.

Pelle sucks though, i dont know why lanfazame didnt start.

What was the result in the final? Who scored and did Sebastian play well?
As said, 1-0 for Italy thanks to a good goal from Osvaldo.
Chile defended Gio constantly with 2/3 defenders, next to that the pitch was soaking wet so both teams couldn't get the best of the play.
He was taken off in the 2nd half and immediately Italy scored.
Lanzafame was on the bench the whole night.

Abate is a great player, i've been watching all of empoli's games this season and the players that i'm impressed by R gio (definately), abate very skillfull and fast winger and pozzi who i think will be one of the best strikers in italy ( he reminds me of inzaghi in a way) not the kind of strikers that u like to watch but certainly he can score goals (and always positioned in the right place at the right time) but both players r owned by milan unfortunately  ......
